Blimey Val, what a drama! Yes you did say before about the naked in bed thing. What a cow! I think you and hubby have done the right thing. You can't have someone like that in your lives. I found that when we got married, you really do find out who your true friends are. DH and I have some friends that we don't see very often due to location, committments, work etc etc - but it meant so much to see those same friends there on the day. At the same time we had other friends who we invited to the evening - and they didn't bother showing up. So it was this kind of thing that made me look at friends in a new light. What I'm trying to say is, your hubby's 3 groomsmen were there on the day - playing their part. Whilst you were on honeymoon, this other girl probably !!!!!ed and moaned about what you said. And we all know what men are like - they like an easy life and no confrontation! Now you're back - get hubby to meet up with them - boys only, and let them hear his side of the story. I'm sure they will all sort it out over a couple of pints, and this girl can just fade into the background.

Gosh what a long post lol.

I'm off work sick today :( Have a cold and I'm not happy. I should really use the time to do my thank you cards. We're not doing anything fancy - using the same design as the rest of the stationery and enclosing a couple of photos in each.

Val - good luck with your last couple of days at work. Anything on the horizon yet?

Smlsave - Now the weddings done - how is the MFW coming along??

Yep, totally agree, I had one of my 'best' friends promise she would come and never showed up which I thought fair enough maybe somthing came up but I havent had a text or anything from her, did see her in a club not long ago but she never said anything.
the 3 groomsmen are from all over the place, one lives here, 1 in London (who we have both spoken to since) and 1 in Birmingham.
Hubby said he doesnt mind tho coz all he needs is me :D would still like it if they could make an effort tho

No new job yet but I have an interview on Thurs for the NHS so fingers crossed!

Hope you feel better soon Sammy

Poor Sammy, I hope you feel better soon. Are you drinking lots of fluids? I especially recommend hot toddy's :D

Totally agree with what your both saying re friends. Luckily I only had one couple who couldn't be bothered to let me know they weren't coming and I find that I can't be bothered to keep in touch with them anymore.

I've used photobox - they are brilliant! I made all my bridesmaids photobooks as their gifts of pictures of us all together! They absolutely loved them. Also if you private message me with your e-mail address I can send you a referral where you get 50 free prints! You only have to pay £1.50 postage. (it also means I get 50 free prints too! lol) but then you can start referring your friends. i honestly have used them about 7 times for various things and they have been excellent! They also start sending you offers after your first purchase and you can make some good savings.
