Thanks Aimee and Val for bumping your threads. You both look gorgeous and I'm so happy that the weather was good for all of us. My day was nice and sunny - but maybe a bit windy as you can see in my veil lol. I lost count of the number of times it blew off my head :eek:

I know what you mean about the wind, luckily mine stayed on but I had hubby holding it down at the back for the photos! lol

I couldn't even get my veil to stay in when in the house! That's why I am minus a veil!

Oh, I drove past the church I got married in today, and there was a wedding that had just finished and the bride looked all lovely and happy in her wedding dress - it made me quite sad

Has anyone done their thank you cards yet - I've done 5 so far lol

Oh im glad its not just me that hasnt done the thank you cards! lol. Ive done about 20! but at least I have been able to knock one of them of my list after trouble on the wedding day with Hubbys 'friend' the same one who text him a while ago asking if he wanted to join her in bed :eek:

well I think Ive told you all about what she did with the naked in bed messages...After that I emailed her and told her how annoyed I was blah blah and we have been civil ever since, Only really see her every now and then anyway.
Hubby knows her from uni and they all lived together in halls first year. 3 of the other guys they lived with were the best men so she is friends with everyone.
The day before the wedding she had text him to ask if he wanted to go for coffee before 'he was banned from seeing her for life' I saw this and got quite annoyed so posted a status on facebook to the effect of 'people who joke about things like that are silly and if they have something to say they need to learn to say it to my face'
As far as I was concerned that was it, she came to the wedding but I didnt speak to her as I had nothing to say. She came up to me at the end and was all nicey nice to me.
On the monday we were due to go on honeymoon and hubby asked me to get a reference number from his phone and I found a message she had sent him on the morning of the wedding saying 'how are you feeling today or something' he replied to say just working on speech etc. She then replied saying 'I cant believe you have left your speech till last minute but seriously I do love you, she doesnt deserve you'
I was that angry I was shaking, I think my blood actually boiled, if I had been in a cartoon steam would have come out of my ears! :mad: :mad: :mad:
I am so annoyed that I didnt know on the day because I would have asked her to leave, I cant believe she had the nerve to say that but was quite happy to show up and eat the food we had paid for and enjoy the day we had planned!!!!
So we went on our honeymoon and once I had calmed down a bit I said to hubby that as much as I didnt want to ask him to he would have to cut all ties with her, it was too much for me to forgive and we dont need someone like that in our lives, he agreed and we sent her a message advising we wanted no further contact from her, what she did was unacceptable and she had no one to blame but herself!
When we got back from honeymoon she had deleted us both of facebook which I was more than happy with but what has annoyed me even more is only one of the best men has contacted either of us since and it has been 6weeks since the wedding so I feel like theyre taking her side and feel sorry for my hubby coz its not his fault, I have no idea what she has told them but I imagine it is all my fault :rolleyes: lol, good job Im not bothered about her!
And to top it all off 'no further contact' apparently means its still ok to send us a postcard of pictures from their wedding thanking us for their wedding gift?????????

Re thank you cards - nope, I have done mine Will print them this week. Has anyone used Photobox before?
