hey girls, just wanted to say that you all look gorgeous in your photos. sorry i haven't replied since our wedding but we've been mega busy. we went on a 2 week honeymoon to mexico and then came back and both started college as mature students:eek:. we've had loads of work - it's almost like real work:rotfl:.
our wedding was amazing and we had such a lovely day. although there were a few mishaps (hairdresser ruining my hair colour, m&s giving us a cake which the top tier was upside down and stuck to the box, the heavens opening just a few hours before our wedding, not being able to wear the petticoat as it made my dress too short and inlaws going in the huff over the first dance and storming out) we had an amazing day.:rotfl:sounds like the wedding from hell but none of it mattered.
when i get time i'll post a wedding report and post some pics.
thanks for all the messages of good luck and hoped all the august brides had amazing days and good luck to all future brides. married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090 -
neeny - you look stunning. And so happy
And I love your hair!! I bet your's is nice and real - not fake hair like mine was lol. And I know what you mean about the dress. I look at pictures of my dress, and I'm like yeah that dress was good lol.
Chardonnay - huge congratulations. Gosh, sounds like you had a hectic day! Why did the in laws storm out??? Such drama! Get your piccies up here pronto
Well I've found something to fill my void of wedding planning. I started confirmation classes at church tonight. It was really interesting so im glad I signed up. Also, Ive been planning our next holiday today. Can't remember if I told you, but when we went on our honeymoon, we came back with a timeshare lol. Well, its not a typical timeshare, the "Disney Vacation Club". Its kind of a holiday property bond thing. It means for the next 50 years we will be going on disney related holidays lmao!!!! In the long term it will be in true MSE style!
Has everyone changed their name on everything yet? I changed my passport before the honeymoon, and I've changed my email address at work, but thats it. Is it a real drama changing it at bank, cc etc. This isn't as much fun as planning a wedding!!0 -
Neeny I LOVE your hair and dress, definitely with you on the dress, So upset I cant wear it again, told hubby I wanted a divorce so I could wear my dress again! lol
Sammy, Havent changed my name except for passport and work. Got all my letters typed up and signed just need to send them out. Need to get my driving licence done first coz got my test soon and its still on my old address to. Nightmare0 -

I've used photobox - they are brilliant! I made all my bridesmaids photobooks as their gifts of pictures of us all together! They absolutely loved them. Also if you private message me with your e-mail address I can send you a referral where you get 50 free prints! You only have to pay £1.50 postage. (it also means I get 50 free prints too! lol) but then you can start referring your friends. i honestly have used them about 7 times for various things and they have been excellent! They also start sending you offers after your first purchase and you can make some good savings.
Thanks Neeny but I've already signed up (and luckily got 40 free prints). I'll order the postcards/thankyou cards tonight. I love the id of giving a photobook as a gift - I may steal the idea

Hey girlies. Well it's been 7 week so I thought i'd best venture back in here and post a few pics. It was an amazing day in the end and much as I hated all the planning, i'm very jealous of anyone who still has their day to come (hence me not being in here much anymore)
Anyway, a few pics for you to enjoy.
