How cool are those invites?! I want one!!!! I am sending mine out probably April/May. I sent out the Save the Dates a few months ago as we have a lot of teacher friends.

Hi everyone,

I am also getting married on 15th August and it seems like I have no time at all left to get things done.

We got engaged back in 2006 and it felt like ages away and it has just come round so quick.

I am planning on making my invtitations but I'm unsure when to send them out. Any suggestions for a mid August wedding?

hiya sorry jumpng in here as im already married (last august) but we sent our invites out in march because a lot fo people go away in august so book thier holidays etc, you could always send out save the date cards early if you dont want to send your wedding invites out too early

Im been really cheap lol because its just a small group of family and friends at the wedding day i've saved on that by ringing them and asking them to put it in there diary calender will send invites out march/april with a map which was a tip of here, I got a selection of samples sent out took them to work and everyone chose the ones I loved the be mine everyone said how all the others they have seen before but the be mine stood out x

I think I will send mine out in March - you want to get in there before everyone books their holidays! I can't wait to send my invites out as then you can send the gift list as well. How exciting :j

Made a nice 200 mile round trip today for one of my BMs to try on their shoes. Fortunately, they fit and she loves them! Just 4 more BMs to do now lol. Why mine have to be spread round I don't know!!

Aimee, you're the only one on the 8th so far! If it helps when I went to book our venue, the 8th was already taken

omg what a long trip luckly furthest mine lives 30 mins away, asked my best freind who I have been best freinds with since i was 5 to be my maid of honor tonight was sweet she was nearly in tears, quite sweet my oh and her oh have been best friends since they were 5 and we all met at the same time and they and us have been together ever since and he is best man x

I wanted the 1st August but it was already booked. So we had the 8th as it is in the middle of the school summer hols and we still have time to go on honeymoon after. I did think afterwards that it is easy to remember- the 8th of the 8th. Plus 8 is a lucky chinese number. Anyway i'm waffelling.

I am too. I have a platimun engagement ring and ould love a platinum wedding band but they are just so expensive! (well the ones I like are! prob because they are set with some diamonds - but they are sooooo pretty! lol)

Anyone got any good websites or places to go for reasonable platinum wedding bands??
