  • I didn't get any confirmation and emailing Bissell is a waste of time. I ended up with two because they said they couldn't trace the order. I received each before money was taken from my bank but luckily had a friend who wanted one.

Try phoning, seem to have people answering phones but drones - automated pointless and irrelevant, seem to have been let loose electronically.

    Best of luck

Would like to add, it is the best I've ever used and would recommend it to anyone. The poster who said it was rubbish on their carpets either didn't have it set up right or forgot to switch it on :rotfl:
  • I ordered on Sunday 1st Feb, and this morning (5th) the courier delivered the pet pack but no vaccuum!! (it said no the package 1of 1).
I called Bissell customer services who said the courier 'may' try to deliver again but if it's not arrived by Tuesday to call back!!
It seems a bit too vague for my liking.
I'll see what happens tomorrow and give them a call back - Pet Pack no good to me without my new vaccuum... and i can't wait to use it. ;)

If you ordered the bissell pet hair one it only comes in one box, the hoover and all attachments are together so it sounds like they sent you the wrong thing, unless you ordered something different.
Will not spend more money:naughty:, but will spend more time looking for that great bargain!

I ordered on 29th January delivered today, i got a confirmation email, on order, but not on dispatch. The pet pack is on sale separate to vacuem, if you have a different model Bissell, Dyson or any other make vacuem cleaner, that you want to get these attachments for, but are included with the Bissell Pet hair as standard.

Have just used the vacuem for the first time, and am really pleased with it, I have mainly hard floors, Carpet only on on stairs and landing, and a rug in lounge, I don't have any pets, it picked up much better than the Little Henry that it is replacing, I sent that back as it was only 6 months old, and was not picking up, fair play to Dixons was sent a replacement, which i will now be selling, as i got the Bissell instead. Thanks op.
  • We have just ordered one of these aswell. Thanks OP!! It is to replace our Miele cylinder vacuum which broke after 4 odd years, that was a great hoover so fingers crossed this will be as good for half the price :)

Got mine this morning, but within 30 seconds of switching it on it started to reek of burning rubber! Anyone else experience this?

I got mine last week and think it is great.

It is a bit bulky and noisy, but it is very powerful and cleans up really well.

Haven't had any problems with a burning rubber smell?! Sounds like you might have got a faulty one??

I opened it up and straightened the drive belt, seems to have sorted it :)
