  • Buying this now as our old Meile is useless (power dies randomly as it overheats) and has just started smelling of ammonia! Ughhh!! Looks like this has some good reviews so fingers crossed. Got a black labrador with a fairly long coat and his hair gets EVERYWHERE so hopefully this will solve our problems :)

I got mine this morning and I have just finished hoovering the stairs with the turbo brush attachment.

It was miles better than my old dyson with turbo attachment. It picked up much more hair and fluff and just seemed a lot sturdier than the dyson.

It does need emptying more often than the dyson (unless you are not as mucky as me :p ) but that is my fault for having a cat with long white hair that floats around like tumbleweed.

I am very pleased with it so far. Thanks to OP.

After seeing the many glowing reviews, I have decided to part with £50 for one :) How long does delivery tend to take?

Does it erase the cats as well as the hair? Little !!!!!!s drive me insane :rotfl:

I ordered mine on 17th Jan and it was out of stock but it was still delivered on Thursday (I was out and got a card through the door.)

    Mine was delivered by DHL.

My cats have not been erased yet. They are running around replacing the fluff I have just hoovered up :rotfl: I think bald cats are the way forward.

Just got one of these, delivery was only a couple of days, and is free by the way.We have two Golden Retrievers which moult 365 days a year and this picked up the hair brilliantly. What astounded me more though was the amount of dust it got out of our carpet, a small bucket of fine sand, and I thought our old vacuum was good, that was a Bissell as well. Just incredible.:j

Ditto. It looks less sturdy than our Vax, but it picks up better. It'll need emtying a lot more often as well because the box is much smaller, but that's not a real problem.

It's a lot lighter than the Vax (weaklings :) ) and makes about the same noise.

The best thing is that if, like us, you use one of those rubber zoom grooms to brush your pet, there's an attachment that's similar :D .
  • Hi

My new Bissell arrived today - took a week and I am very impressed with it. Can't stop hoovering! I find it a lot lighter than my old Dyson and in fact it seems to take off around the room with me trying to hold onto it and keep it under control! Picks up very well and I am amazed at how much was collected in the container when i had finished.
I will be recommending it - a real bargain at £50!

I got the hard floor cleaner, and it's ace. my floors have never looked so good - it comes with 2 bottles of cleaner and you can put what ever you want in when they've gone.
    Very pleased for the money

I ordered mine over a week ago, and they still haven't billed me yet, guess I'm going to have to call them on Monday. They must have stock as they are still selling it, but I wonder if my order has been over looked.
