Nothing to report here other than the light doesn't work anymore & loss of suction which is usualy down to the filter being blocked.
  • The belt on mine went about 4 months after purchase (husband tried hoovering son's bedroom floor when it was covered in the usual junk so not really Bissell's fault). I spoke to someone in customer service and we received a new belt in the post the next morning.
I think it is the best hoover I have ever had with regard to performance, only drawbacks are that it is noisy and fairly heavy.

Mine is still going okay, although it seems the filter gets blocked up ALOT. I find it far too heavy also, and kind of wished i'd bought a lighter one!

I got a reconditioned Bissell lift off about 4 months ago and have had no probs at all with it. It is like brand new. I got it directly from Bissell and I am very impressed with it but you've got to keep an eye on the filters

That's a shame - you must have been unlucky as I got one in the offer last year for me and my mum and they're both fine. Mines has sucked up socks and baby wipes (also half a curtain when I got too close to my floor length ones!). It did slightly lose suction until I found a big pencil sharpener it had sucked up in the hose. If you keep calling them I hope they offer you a replacement.
