Arrived today. Crikey, it can't half pick up stuff including carpet pile! At this rate I'll have no carpet left :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Hopefully it was just excess carpet pile .... loads of dirt too which my old faithful (or maybe not so faithful anymore) missed. Quite a mean machine - thanks for the heads up OP - I don't think this one will miss anything!

Hurrah....I have now got my pet vac afer the first one I had was broken and had to be returned.

Wow...it's a great cleaner! :j I am embarrassed how much was in the dirt collector!! I had been using a dust buster for about a month....so you can imagine!

I really like the way the dirt collects free of the filter as my last vac filter got all clogged up with gunk!

For some reason the dog isn't so freaked with this vac - not sure why???

It's as good as everyone says and just glad I can now agree with you all!:T

Mine's broken :( but not from over usage :rotfl: - the brushes aren't going round and the light isn't working. Might be something to do with the sock that got caught up in it :o but they are sending me a replacement anyway ;)

What do you expect us to do about it? Phone them again and ask where the screws have gotten to.

  • Just in case anyone else was wondering, I called them today and they are no longer offering the vacuum at the sub £50 mark. The sales chap did also check to see if they had any in which were reconditioned units, but they didn't.

Anyone else have a suggestion for a good pet hair vac that doesn't cost the Earth?

  • Just resurecting this thread to see if any of those that bought this hoover are having any problems. The belt went on mine within 6 weeks but an email to customer services and a replacement belt was sent straight away. I love this hoover - well as much as anyone can love a hoover ;) - and now it sound like concorde taking off :( dh thinks the bearings have gone - have emailed customer services again (Friday) just waiting and hoping on a positive response.
