I've only used mine twice so far:o
The first go, it pulled some of the wool out of a looped rug but I think that was because it was on hard floor setting. I also managed to block up the turbo head attachment when I inadvertently sucked up a bit of dog bone:rolleyes: Took it apart, removed the bone, put it back together & it's as good as new!:D When using the attachments, I kept pulling the machine over-think the hose may be shorter than the Dyson(even using all the extension pieces)either that or the the main hose is just in a different position to what I'm used to.
Have to say, the amount of !!!! it sucked out of my rug(the one it didn't chew!)was disgusting! However, I don't find that I have to empty the tank any more often than my Dyson.
I wouldn't say it picks up any better than anything else on hard floors, but it's much better for manouvering & edge to edge cleaning than my Dyson-you don't need to push it, it just glides!:D0 -
So good to hear everyone is enjoying their new pet bissells!
Mine arrived and a part is broken  . I now have to await for them to send a returns label, have it collected, wait for them to receive it back and send one out after that!
They were nice to deal with though....but it's going to take a while, and my poor floors are dreadful as the dust buster doesn't really cope with a hairy dog and I gave my old vax away as I knew my new one was arriving!
I dread how many times I will have to empty the dust collecter after the first vac.....:rotfl:Many a Mickle makes a Muckle!0 -
Still some available at the offer price if you ring up even though the website is showing the price of £149. My Hoover is on her last legs so looking forward forward to trying this one out. Slightly concerned about the negative comments though
although there seems to be more positive ones
Is this the £50 offer? Did they say how many. I am so interested in getting one of these as my hoover is a lot broken. I may give them a call in the morning. Were they willing to tell you this info?
Thanks0 -
I just phoned up and said I wanted to order the vac on the special offer price (I didn't mention the price on the website) so she checked and said there were about 30 left. Hope you manage to get one

Just ordered mine too. (not sure how I'm going to explain it to hubby, who bought me a new Vax vacuum two months ago, but I can't get on with the Vax at all!) Also ordered the Air -rider from Bissell for my daughter which arrived extremely quickly. She says it looks like a little spaceship, but hasnt tried it out yet, so will report back on both!0

I showed my new Bissell to my husband last night who said "but there is nothing wrong with the dyson we have" (says he who has probably used it once in 8 years!)
I then showed him the contents of the dirt holder thing, and he admitted that perhaps it was a good buy!0 -
I've just ordered one about 5 minutes ago for my sister at £49.99
They have 15 left in stock at that price, and if you ask for the pet hair eraser vacuum at the internet offer price of £49.99, they will order it (if they still have stock)

A bit off topic but I got this hoover a few days ago.... this morning I dropped it on my head (ouch!) I was stupidly hoovering the stairs leaving the vacumn at the top and I was about halfway down when the hose stretched too far and it fell wacking me hard on the noggin... I'm such an idiot!
I've broken it - well, one of the hose tidys and a cable tidy bit snapped off. And It didn't half hurt my head!!0
