 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

cheers lynz!!! thanks for the support hun. i just want to be rid of this debt so any tiny saving i can make is a step closer!!

i do try and do all the challenges sometimes i achieve them and other times i dont, but if i dont i just see this as another challenge. my kids spur me on as they love the savings lark as much as i do ( they have been asking me for days to empty my piggy ).

since i joined the site in may last year i have learned so much and saved so much too!!! so craigp....you will get there it just takes a bit of time and loads of determination!!

I am so impressed - you have inspired me to do something very similar.

    Hey Jamie

Well done and just to think when you did your first post on this thread you aimed to have your debt paid off by the end of 2007! A bit later in this thread you stated that your debt free date is April 2007 - wow! - knocked 8 months off!

I think you have totally the right attitude that will ensure your success, i.e. by making it a fun 'game' for your kids to join in with - 'how much is in the piggy bank' etc...so they will learn about money etc!

    Brilliant!

I always say this but all of us on this board look forward to another 'member' becoming debt free and we will be here when you do it!

    Take care!
