hi guys,
as you can see from my signature i am aiming to have paid off all my debt by end 2007. that is the latest i want to be debt free.
this morning i have paid another £54 off my barclaycard. i have really started this thread so i have a log to show how it was achieved. i am planning on paying £205 off next week and £120 off on the 6th feb.
when that is done then i can BT most of capital one debt to the barclaycard at 6.9% instead of a ghastly 26.9%.
will update as soon as something changes....wish me luck guys xx

Good luck Jamiedodger, why not post how you have raised the money for the various payments, think that would be really helpful to the rest of us looking to bump along our repayments too.Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

Hi,
Well done for starting the payments off already. I am sure that you will achieve your repayment target of Dec 2007. Well done for coming up with a realistic plan and fingers crossed that everything will go to plan for you.
Have you remembered to budget for the unknown (things like car breaking down, washing machine packing up etc etc). Sorry to sound patronising, it's just that is how my boyf and I have accumulated a whole load of our own debt - through things cropping up that we didn't expect.
Good luck, I really hope you achieve your goal. Keep us updated.0 -

hi zeddy,
my income is £1556 per month
i pay £400 per month into my bills account this covers all dd's but the actual outgoings from that account per month are only £320 (leaving £80 per month), this together with the fact that i have just renegotiated a new mobile contract (getting £100 credit put on my account) means i have no mobile bill to pay for 3 months. water bill no payments feb and march, and my tv licence is now paid up until august. this gives me more leeway. if anything crops up like you mentioned, it will just come out of the bills account.
he he hope i explained that properly and didnt sound like a total nutter!
house keeping per month now = £400 covers living!!!
loan payments = 117.00
interest on overdraft = 16.00
leaves me with = £623.00 to pay towards debt and any other expenses.
I CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!! yay!!!November NSD's - 70
