hi all, just an update on how i am doing....

well, have now transfered majority of capital one debt to barclaycard at 6.9% and am now paying that back at the min payment, have set up a direct debit so im never late. the rest of the capital one debt will be paid at the end of this week, i am just waiting for my new cheque book for a&l account, they have given me £250 overdraft at 0% so i will paying the cap one off with that.

    that will then leave:

    barclaycard £430 @6.9%
    a&l overdraft £130 @0%
    o/d abbey £2100 @9.9%
carloan £4287.02 (fixed monthly payments of £116.26)
comp loan £312.28 (fixed monthly payments of £11.82)

overdraft (abbey) @9.9% (i will be paying this back at £370 per month) so should take 6 months.

with my new a&l account came a 10% regular saver account which i will be paying in £50 per month towards car loan...but have to pay in for 12 months.

i am also saving £70 per month in a instant access account (about 4%) with a&l, which i am saving until it reaches the amount to settle my computer loan, that should take about 5 months, after which that money will also be saved towards the car loan as will the £370 im paying off the overdraft.

sooooooo.............hopefully this will bring my DFD forward to more like spring next year.....just 12 months away!!!!!!!!!

That's fantastic!! Do a&l do a 0% credit card? Once you've been with them for a few months you could apply for one and that would bring your DFD even closer! What are you credit reports like? Seeing as you got approved for your new account how about trying for a different 0% card?? Just a few ideas! ;)
