I am registering my litters of kittens and want a literary theme possibly children's books. I have Huckleberry Finn, Just William possibly Pollyanna . I thought also of Paddington Bear, does anyone else know any famous bears? I need 11 names for 3 girls and 8 boys anyone got any ideas - what was your favourite book as a child, perhaps? Thanks folks I am stuck!!

Brumas was the first baby polar bear born in the UK after WW2 - there was lots of polar bear stuff for children - toys, books, soap (!)around then celebrating his birth.
Knut was the baby polar bear born in Berlin zoo a couple of years ago who's mother abandoned him and he was hand reared by his keeper.
There might be a list of bears and their names on the London Zoo site - could you get some inspiration from there ?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
