Mel mel welcome! Wow, you sure have been through the mill - I'm so sorry about your sister. That must have been terrible for you, and I guess it'll take time to come to terms.
My husband has a friend with COPD - very unpleasant, from the little that he's told us about it.
I think all of us here would understand the frustration angle. It's maddening, when you can't do things you used to manage with ease.
Bushbaby it sounds like life's really getting on top of you just now. Please don't apologise for moaning, we all need to sometimes, and it's your turn just now. I do understand the "can't even be bothered to cry" feeling; I've been there on occasion. I do so hope tomorrow is a better day.
People, after today I'll be offline til next Wednesday - I'm rarely online at weekends anyway, and Mr LW has Monday and Tuesday as Annual Leave; Tuesday he's having dental work, so I have to go with him in case he feels too poorly to drive home afterwards. Anyway, the point is, I hope you'll all have a reasonable, or possibly even good, few days while I'm AWOL.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Hi Tattoed Bum & everyone on here !!
Great thread....I`ve started having to catch up every night to see what eveyone is up to !! Sad I know but I suffer severe depression & insomnia is the worst! ...my big black dog is howling like crazy tonight...oh well where`s those earplugs!!
Got same problem with going out as well as you TB...& when I`m out I need to get back...I think its a `feeling safe` thing...& for me I get panic attacks & I am scared I will have another when I`m out & its a vicious circle!...its easier to avoid all things that make it worse!
Hope everyone has a good weekend & nice to meet you all

ps...my 3 real dogs are in the kitchen & I can hear them snoring their little heads off !! They are my reason for getting up in the morning!!0 -

I`d love to see Slumdog....but I get nervous & claustraphobic in confined dark cinemas....it`d be ok if they could leave the lights on!!! ...maybe I should ask...lol

Hi all and hello to some new names I've not seen before. Well I thought I would share some happy news with you all that has bouyed me up a great deal. On Friday my 21 year old daughter graduated with honours in biosciences at Canterbury cathedral and it was the most wonderful day of my life since the birth of my girls. I am so proud and now know there was a good reason for me being put on this earth.
Sorry to hear about all the new peeps problems, jesus isn't it terrible how we are made to suffer like this by our dam bodies. All I can do is offer an ear in return for the many here and a warm hug and a virtual coffee or tea to warm us through this snow. 5 inches on my window ledge eek can't remember this in London before.
Hugs to all.x0 -
Hi Bunny , I'm SW London wiv a good 5-6" of snow on everything even the car (wanted to nip out for some chocs but thought better stay indoors). You're right I haven't seen it this bad for years. My cat refuses to go out she's a bit confused by all that cold white stuff! hope we get the cold weather payment again :-)
Angel: I saw on TV that some cinemas show some films with the lights on so people with epilepsy, autism etc can go. Yes do ask you never know our local cinema might do it0 -
Hey bushbaby it's been snowing here in Greenwich all day and now I can hardly see my car lol, as for cats I'm a bit worried because I haven't seen my bonnie since this morning maybe she's ensconced in my bedroom but she doesn't come when I call her hope she's not out there trapped somewhere there's so much snow.0

any news of your kitty? She may well be hiding somewhere snuggled up warm I'm sure she'll turn up when her tummy tells her it's supper time :-)
Being weak-willed I ventured out on the premise of topping up the gas pre-payment card...walked all the way to the shop only to find that i'd forgotten the card! No way am I going out again, just bought a pack of biccys and scurried home...i blame my fibro-depression foggy headiness (and love of biccys)
Fingers crossed for Bonnie0
