im knackered, was up most of the night crying :(

i was volunteering yesterday, i felt pretty good handing goodie bags out for mental health awareness day but i couldnt help myself reading all of the leaflets i was putting in the bags i was reading the early intervention (psychosis) team one and i got really upset coz i was being looked after by them less than a year ago, i had a support worker, a care co-ordinator and a doctor at the hospital. then they decided that all of my symptoms were just down to my OCD and dysthmia and low self esteem and about 20 other things. so i can still tick everything off on the list on teh leaflet i get no help at all. dont get me wrong, im not wishing i was psychotic or saying that people with psychosis shouldnt get the help coz they definately should but we all should too. it doesnt help my worries that no one believes me and im going to get sued for getting dla for no reason at all :(

i'vecgot a Obsession, thinking i have left the cooker on .,,i have to turn mains off. count the dials making shaw there turned off , check taps are not running ...about 10 times of more before i can leave the house ..can take 30 mins at times re-checking ..feel i have gone mad..only told b/f as he is nice and loving about it..and has found out if he say he will check ..we get out quicker ! while some times he say.. going along... well if it's on... your need a new house when we get back ! arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... the good thing i suppose im allergic to alcohol and cigarettes ! so only chocolate to look forward to in time of stress ...
hope everyone is feeling better today it's nice and sunny here and warm ..joints not so much in pain to day and headache gone ...dog sound asleep in baskety

i can identify with those obsessions too, anythign that would put my hubby or dog in danger, so leaving the house unlocked, gas taps on, water taps on, iron on, straighteners on etc. etc. takes ages to get out of the flat and in soem circumstances he has to check and lock up- like when we went on honeymoon coz i wouldnt have relaxed the entire time if not.

    Hi Crazy_girl.

I hope that the thread has gone quiet because everyone's Black Dogs are sleeping soundly.

Personally, I'm hangin' in there - had a bit of a blip the other night, but nothing I couldn't handle; mainly I'm desperately tired (to the point of doing daft things like putting the recycling in the fridge:confused:), and taking rather more Oramorph than I was, to keep the pain below screaming level.

Having a filthy cold doesn't help either! LOL

Currently I'm looking forward to having a canine guest for 11 days; she's arriving tomorrow, so having her to stay will buck me up no end.

Thanks for thinking of us all; I hope you are doing OK too.:o

  • yeah not too bad lamewolf, im performing in a play i co-wrote in december and thats starting to stress me out but im fine once i get on stage (my mum had to get me out of the loos sobbing my heart out before my a-level drama exam play!)

i didnt really fancy going out today but my hubby has convinced me to go to the drop-in at streetwise. wether i go or not remains to be seen.

dogs are fantastic arent they for cheering you up? ive got two at the min, my mum and dads dog as well as my own.

ive had the knackered thing all the time too, i feel for you coz its horrible!

the docs think i might have a personality disorder now, my mum said i dont want that diagnosis as it will ruin my life apparently.

the early intervention team are back in touch, a blokes comign on monday. i really dunno what theyre up to. im fed up of them coming and going, i dont know who i can and cant trust, which is pretty difficult for me anyway!

i hope everyones dogs (except the good ones!) have !!!!!!ed off atm too!

Ooh, best of luck with the play - or as they say, "break a leg".:o

I wouldn't fancy people coming to my house either - the shrink did say I could have a psych nurse visit me, but I said no, I didn't want my home invaded.

What sort of dogs do you have?

If you can get out to go to the drop-in, that'd be good.

Actually, that's just reminded me, must get Mr LW to bring in my scooter battery for charging tonight, so that I can take Molly Dog for her walks. She's arriving about 17:00 tomorrow.

    Take care, mate.:o

  • its a good way to get you to get out of the house as dogs dont understand a bad day - they still need their walks regardless!

Hello Lamewolf - sometimes my heart gives a little leap when I see someone else has Lupus - then I remember I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!
I can't even be bothered to explain it to anyone - it takes so long and its different every day. I sometimes say to people "Google it!"
I'm at work today but Sat/Sun couldn't walk - I'm sure people look at me and wonder if its all in my head!!
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!!!
BTW have you seen the LDN thread - thats being used for SLE - contemplating looking into it further.
    Take care

Cheers Jennihen, I've had a quick read of the LDN thread, but not taking in a lot at the mo, as I have a filthy cold and am even more confuzzled than usual.

I shall have to get Mr LW to take a look - although getting anything at all out of our local NHS is like getting blood out of a stone; they've just halved one of my meds, and I'm really suffering because of it. I'm totally certain it's a money-saving exercise.

Sorry, that was a bit of a rant, wasn't it?:o

I'm soooo with you on the "sick and tired of being sick and tired".

Take it easy; hopefully a good day tomorrow.:o
