Have just got back from Merry Hill. They only had the small chickens on the promotion cabinets so took 2 medium (£8) ones from the normal poultry aisle.

No medium chickens in Chester store only small ones. I also looked where the chickens usually are but nothing, only very large ones which were not included in the meal deal.

I got a medium chicken that had £7.11 on it so was really pleased. There were 2 fridges with chickens in them, one was all small size & the other all medium.

No standard medium or large chickens in my store only small or XL so I got a medium chicken filled with stuffing and herb butter ontop didn't think it would work but it did:j

everybody else prob already knows this but large chickens don't go through on this offer anymore. Boo hoo.

There was no Orange juice out in the Doncaster store so I got 2 singles from the chilled drinks section. Needless to say, they wouldn't go through. Supervisor said there wasn't any but I could have a box of chocolates instead. These wouldn't go through either and a different supervisor came. She was much more helpful and went and got some of the orange juice from the stockroom.
I got the largest medium chicken I could find - fridge was full of medium chickens for the offer.

There were loads of medium chickens at Simply Food at Cheshire Oaks. Managed to find a £6.90 one.

I was in the Moorgate branch this morning and picked up the biggest medium chicken I could (value £9.09) plus the dauphinoise potatoes, and the apple pie. I then proceeded to have an argument with the food dept manager when I tried to add a bottle of the Paladin SB as my wine and they said it didn't qualify. I said it was definitely listed on the web site and they said although they couldn't access their own web site from their computer (!!) they called someone on the phone who checked and said it wasn't listed on the site. I tried my hardest but they wouldn't back down so I had to settle for a bottle of the merlot. When i got into work I took a screen shot of their web site which listed the wine and I'll will be returning to continue the argument at lunchtime. grrr:mad:
