Very little choice in Hudds at about 4.30pm, only the berry yogurt thing and cheese for pud, only new potatoes and veg mix as veg, plenty of chickens however - got £7 and a £6.70....and Cava which is not on their website list

I went to the one near monument station yesterday and got-

1 x med chicken, ready to roast veg, Chocolate fudge pudding & cava

Salmon Fillets, stuffing (to go with the chicken), Lemon Cheescake slices & bottle of chardonnay.

Also bought 2 x orange juice, pint milk, 2 x italian ready meals

Should have been £40.32 but with the dine for £10 and the £5 voucher it came to the bargain price of £21.32.

We shall have one of the puddings tonight, the chicken, veg, stuffing and the other pudding sun and the salmon on mon. and we are going to friends for dinner tomo so shall take the wine with us :)

Can confirm that the meduim stuffed chickens with herb butter on top go through on the offer, better value too as they had 25% off per kg.

Can anyone tell me if the chicken is free range or RSPCA or whatever friendly?

    Thanks

No, they are barn reared, not free-range.

I went yesterday at about 4:30 and they had plenty of mains and veg but the desert selection was pretty poor and i only saw one pack of orange juice and i took the last cava brut.

I definately bought this yesterday as part of the dine in as it was the only med chicken and I thought I might have to argue but went straight through

  • If you see lots of small chickens on one aisle end and you want a medium bird, it's worth checking the ends of the aisles for more medium birds. Moorgate had lots of small birds one afternoon but there were more medium birds nearer the checkouts/further away from the '£10 offer zone'. Keep them peeled!
