Last night we had the Gastro Paella and roasted mediterranean veggies, followed by apple pie and have to say it was the best "ready meal" I've ever tasted, plus there was more than enough food for 2 people! :T

It was washed down with a bottle of the Cobborah Chardonnay and again, this was an excellent wine and extremely palatable. Well done M&S, I shall certainly be buying this meal deal again :D

I'm just glad Ceasar Vegetables & House Salad Bowls are in it.

The side dishes often don't float my boat.

As I'm virtually t-total I would prefer if they had the option of two side dishes instead of a bottle of wine, but the OJ is ok.

    Oh & I can't remember where I put my £5 off vouchers:mad: :(

Hi, I went at 11am this morning and got a chicken (£8.21), mixed roasting veg, chocolate fudge pudding and merlot. I got the last big chicken. All the others were £6-£7. Also there was nearly no wine left. Plenty of everything else.
  • Hasn't anyone else bought 3 of these deals and used their £5 off £25 voucher? Off to start a new thread.......
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).
  • This time I chose the items that I wouldn't normally buy/make - the gammon with the dauphinoise potatoes, the apple pie and a bottle of the merlot. Great value at £5 per head!

    Yes I did today.

Actually bought 4 deals and 2 extra bottles of wine to make it up to the 6 for the 15% off. So spent £45 including the discount for the wine and the £5 off but saved myself over £38 :D

I went yesterday at about 4:30 and they had plenty of mains and veg but the desert selection was pretty poor and i only saw one pack of orange juice and i took the last cava brut.

    I got two offers today.

We don't hardly drink (bottle of wine over the xmas period for the house & maybe a bottle on holiday:o ).

They only had one twin pack of juice left, I did ask them if they had anymore & the girl looked but they didn't. I asked if they were offering anything else for non-drinkers but was told no.

I got it anyway, I had the £5 voucher too, so even if I give the wine away I still got a good deal, but I would have though morally they should offer a non-alcoholic substitute:confused:

I got the chicken breasts with mozzarella, stuffing and chocolate fudge pudding, plus a bottle of wine for later. I also got an extra butternut squash lasagne as I love it but H hates it, and the assistant was helpful in making sure I got the more expensive chicken as part of the deal. We ate it last night and every part was delicious.
I hope they keep doing this promotion, it's much cheaper and nicer than a takeaway with almost as little effort.
