I'm not an M&S shopper but am going to get it this time, which day is best to go to have the most choice? (will be going in the afternoon)

I would say the best day to go would either be on a Thurs or a Sat. We get huge amounts of stock on the Thurs generally to open the promotion and then of course Sat is most stores busiest day and so they should get the stock then with that in mind.
