  • I need some help, when I login to my boots account, I still have my basket sitting there with 10 items in it with the full price beside it, if I click on basket I am still getting the generic error, how on earth can I clear my basket, at this rate I am never going to be able to order online again. I tried to email them but they are having technical difficulties - mmm as if we didnt know that.

Hi I tried the following and it worked for me, not sure if it works for everyone though, but worth a try.

From previous posts, I don't think Boots can sort this out.

Other people have rung CS & they can't do anything, but you can clear it yourself by following these steps:

    1) Log out of your account

    2) Add something to the empty basket that is definitely in stock

    3) View the basket with the one item in it

    4) Use the "Log in" at the top right hand side of the screen to log back into your account & it brings up your basket in full. Then you need to manually delete any OOS items that are causing the error.

    HTH

My order just arrived, everything seems to be in order. :)
I can't believe the huge boxes they have used for just two small items though. They are huge and filled with paper. What a waste. God knows where I'm going to put them - they certainly won't fit in my recycling bin. Surely they could just stick the customer details label to the product, or use a bag?
