Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 48 - Post your finds here

Options
This is continuation of Boots Grabbit Part 47
Updated - 23 January 2009

This post contains all the updated glitches, offers etc and post 2 contains Q&A so please read the first and second posts of this thread for any answers you need. This will save a lot of duplicate questions on this thread.

All Boots seems to have different policies. What happens in one does not necessarily happen in another.

Successfully getting some of the better glitches often depends on if the SA you pick is willing to try. Its sometimes sensible to buy some other things to 'disguise' your bargain. If the SA won't put it through, please don't make a fuss - they are only doing their job. Just try again another SA / store / day. It is a good idea to try and make a friend in a SA if possible.

A tip if you've .com points to collect. If they don't show up on one ACM then try another. A few people have had this problem(myself included) and found that trying a different acm they appear.

It has been hard at times this year trying to keep up but it makes it all so worth while when you see how friendly and nice the thread is and how everyone is happy to help everyone else out.

i know people have made some good friends on here and the support we all give each other is phenomenal. I know several people from the thread have had particularly bad years with personal/medical problems and have had a great deal of support and help from people here which has helped them get through it. Nothing makes more more happy than when i open my inbox and get messages about how good the thread is and how nice people are on it.

I want to say thanks to AB_KW too who has kept me up to date with a lot of info on the run up to Christmas and keeps helping everyone on the thread with questions. Sorry for making this sound like an acceptance speech lol.

I'm sure there was something else i was going to put but have forgot with all my ramblings so will add it when i remember.

EDITED - I remember what i was going to add. The thread is not just down to me its thanks to all you guys for finding offers/glitches and posting them here so that i can update the first post. Heres to plenty more glitches coming our way soon.

Does anyone know how to track the parcels?
Ive clicked on the parcelforce link from my order and then put in my order ID in the track order box but it isn't working, do I need to log into the courier account to use it or am I doing something wrong?

As far as I know, Boots only uses Home Delivery Network. If you really did go to the Parcelforce Web site to trace the package, that would be why it isn't working.

Edit: I noted you clicked on the email link, so it should've been the right one. I just do a search for Home Delivery Network and type in the number. Note that the tracking number is different from the Boots order number and is located a few lines below the boots number.
