Popped into Boots in Northampton today and managed to get a Hackett gift set with aftershave and handkerchief for father in law's birthday - apart from that there was only wrapping paper left.

I order a couple of times a month from boots.com.
My sale order came today and some was a bit bashed too.
A lot of the time my order comes in a 6 foot long box containing a few toiletries ect that could have fitted in a jiffy bag. The rest of the box is full of paper. I don't know what is worse trying to get rid of a 6 foot box or a few bashes? I will just be keeping the bashed stuff and keeping the rest as gifts.
My order was pretty big, I had nightmares about them arriving at my door with 10 6 foot boxes lol, but no they crammed it all in one box with no protection.

I bought the iggle trike from argos in september, didnt open it till xmas eve - the parent pole was broken. There was a part missing to hold the front wheel on, and the red bucket on the back was missing.
I am just about to open my trike from boots - hopefully I will get a whole trike. If anyone needs handle bars or any other part let me know.

Hi, just called boots they are picking up my bashed items tomorrow and 80% of the trike & replacing them !

When i called she said that i would have to return the whole thing and then arrange a replacement, but the courier system wasn't working, so i said is it easier for me to take it back to store. So thats what i have to do and then the store are supposed to call h.o to reporder me another, it better not charge me full price tho, seeing as their sale system isn't working!

i am really confused with boots now, i have a "order cancellation" email plus a dispatched email one after the other, have checked website and it confirms that the order has been picked up by hdn, so now do i keep quiet and see if i am charged or what? this is sooo weird. only problem is i paid full price on my mums visa and have to call with a reference no to get it knocked down to 75%. so will i be charged or will i be lucky? this is the second order i had to place as the original was "cancelled" but i had email about this @ a week ago now.

I have my confirmation E mail ! will be despatced (hopefully)when they can see my return order is on its way back. So around thursday I was asured this would be a straight swap,& my Email says £0.00. good luck jojo1978 !

Hi

Boots charge your card as the order is dispatched, so when (if) you receive the order, check your online order history and it should state whether you've been charge.

Personally I would phone and check anyway, apart from the guilty conscience I would worry that I would be charged at a later date at full price and wouldn't feel able to challenge it and request a credit.
