  • Ive got so many points to use up dont really want to spend any more money - somewhere deep in my memory i think you can use your points to pay or on line shopping in store.
Dont know if this was a dream so may be someone can help.
Think it goes like this you put your order in on the boots site but dont pay for it you print this out and take it to the shop and hand the print in with the clubcard and use this to pay for items.
Dont know how this would work on sale items though as are these only reserved for you once you have paid for them ?
So would i have to pay for these with 'real money' and only use card for online things that r going to be in stock like the slimfast health offer ?
    SOME HELP PLEASE ANYONE ?
  • Had another reply re the online sale

    Dear xxxx

    Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately at this moment in time we have no guaranteed time when the sale will be put back on the website. However, as soon as our technical department have resolved the original problems the sale will be put up. This fact will be advertised in advance of the sale going live again.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. Thank you again for contacting us. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me again, quoting reference number, xxxxxx.

    Kind regards,
    David Tym

You can order instore and pay with points there but ordering at home online you have to pay cash with your debit card or credit card. Sale things are back at full price anyway so not such a great deal now.

Im awaiting my sale order today!

  • I wish too that Boots would enforce limits, my store wasn't that bad though people were taking 5 items at a time but there were usually items left on the shelves.
Personally I feel taking whole shelves of stock is not in the spirit of things, but I know that these people do not care too hoots about whether it is right or not.
If we all just bought items we needed for gifts for christmas / birthdays etc then there would be enough to get around, and any hostility in store would be stopped as they would know they were not able to buy more then 3/4/5 of the same items.
I know it will never happen as Boots just want to shift the stock anyway they can.
Lastly I want to say I sympathise with the people who stayed up all night and most of the day and were still not sucessful in placing an order, and yes I appreciate you should be there early in order to pick up these bargains, I also appreciate lots of people have children / work etc and it's simply not possible to be there at store opening. Some of these people were no doubt there at 9.15am/9.30am but the vultures had probably already swooped.
I have two preschool children so decided to brave instore with my double buggy, there were no toys left (shortly after opening) but I did manage to get a few gifts for birthdays through the year. This means my monthly budget can be stretched a bit further this year, as I wont have to pay for gifts nearer the time at full price.

I have just recieved my order, and been charged full price!

I phoned Boots, and was told that they do not have to honour the sale price and will not refund the difference. I am returning the lot!!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Mine arrived this morning despite being told that it would not be with me until Wednesday. My neighbour took it in because I was at work. It was like Christmas all over again opening up the big box and going through what I had ordered.
