Remember if you return it and try to go for the new model you will not be able to order it under the same name using the first order code. I had this problem even though I cancelled my first order and then tried to order the newer model.
Yeah i know i was just thinking of returning it.
I only really ordered it because i thought it was a real bargain, but if people are now saying it is not very good i dont know weather to return it.

If you got it for £630 its a bargain mate.I returned mine mainly due to Freemans errors ie (wrong model sent, charged £720 instead of £630) if youve got the digital tuner model i would keep or flog it on ebay!!.If you live in a telewest area you can hook it up to thier tvdrive via htmi and watch your tv in 720p!!!

It is only a bargain if you were out looking for an LCD TV. ;)

If you have paid £630+ for something you didn't really want just because it had a bit of discount then it is hardly a bargain!

Of course they can be different - sounds to me as though you should have asked Dell for a replacement, or still should if it's under warranty! Pity your computer scientist "partner" didn't think of that :)

No need to be sarcastic, i was only giving my opinion!

My 'partner' isn't at all interested in returning the TV as it wasn't his money that purchased it, it was mine. He's too busy to be at all interested.....

I might send Dell an email regarding the TV to find out what they can do, I'm sure they'll ask me to return the TV and ask me to pay for the postage or something, that's what puts me off.

I am not overly impressed with mine but for £630 it isnt bad. However if the newer version is a vast improvement i might return mine and get that. The lower response time should be good for console games.

Isn't the 41BD good enough for console games? My monitor has a 16ms reponse time and I see no motion blur on it when playing games.
  • I ordered my 32" Tuesday and it arrived this afternoon :D

I am suprised at how light it is, I haven't opened the box yet ........ I hope it's in there! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I used xbox via component and most of the games looked stunning esp ''NINJA GAIDEN''couldnt see any real motion blur to think of.Loved playing games on it just didnt like analogue picture via freeview.
