I replied to them already with a 4 fold list of reasons why this isnt exceptable.

My lovely wife has just found the page that someone suggested I printed off! Will see how they respond then see where to move next.

Will get onto trading standards I think though... could do with some help from people who have had the tv arrive though...

Just had a thought... it seems that the £700 model that was ordered on sunday has been sent... Do you think they run out and suddenly noticed what was going on.. or should I have a go with the £700 model and see if it comes through...

Just had another look at the site, read the terms and conditions...

"Any order code used outside these terms and conditions will be rejected."

wonder if I can get them with this logic...

1) The above statement means that ALL orders outside these T&Cs will be rejected
2) Therefore, the fact that some people have received TVs means the order WAS NOT outside of terms and conditions.
3) Therefore... GIVE ME MY CHEAP TELLY!!!!

I am aware (before someone points out) that this was always a bit of a "wing and a prayer" deal. And I fdon't begrudge any of the lucky swine that got their TVs. However, I do begrudge the fact that it took freemans 6 DAYS to tell me that I cant have it, during which time I've phoned Telewest and upgraded my TV package and agreed to sell my telly!

Hi.
was just playing about with discount codes for the 26" idtv samsung (was trying to use %20 code,first tried dnep which it didnt accept then used drep).
anyway it went ahead and ordered.so i have no idea if it applied the discount (doesnt mention discount on email just says £600).so
1. how do you know if the code has been accepted?
2. what is the actual model number of this tv
3. is it wall mountable (ie vesa standard)
