Well I have placed an order as my Wife at our address and with me paying for it. Talk about complicated, but think I have got round it saying I have used the code before. Checked with both Freemans and credit card provider that this is ok.
Will let you know what happens.0 -
Going off on a tangent slightly, I just bought the 32inch and am experiencing some ghosting despite having a scart coming from the DVD recorder (which has an RGB component) and a further scart from cable box to recorder.
A little miffed as the picture is worse now than I had on my old Grundig CRT.
Can anyone advise please? Many thanks!0 -

Ghosting is normal on an LCD or Plasma TV, which is why I will never be buying one for at least 10 years
The ghosting is caused by the pixels on the TV Display being unable to react fast enough to rapidly moving pictures, so no amount of expensive SCART cables are going to fix that.0 -

Yes but have you checked with your credit card company to see if it was declined??
My card was declined at first but when i phoned up by CC company they admitted to declining it as they though it was a rather large amount and could be fraud.
Freemans will not decline your card on purpose, if they do not wish you to use the code they will just charge you full price.
Phone your CC company up!!!"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Mine finally arrived yesterday (collected today). Picture quality is excellent.
Thanks very much to the person that posted the 30% code and the thread starter. Quidco has also tracked.
I just need to find a decent HDMI DVD player.0 -
If you want to make a quick£100+ list it on ebay... do a search and see what they are selling for!0

Cancelled my order over the phone and then went to order new model but it said I had already used the code. Been on phone all morning to Freemans trying to sort it out. Just want them to delete my account but they say they can't.
Don't know what to do. They say order full price then ring when got bill and quote discount. They then tell me that this code is only for fashion items not TVs.
Said that I could place an order in my wifes name and use her card. Might be the only way around it.
Talk about a nightmare morning.
I have just deleted my cookies again reordered the new one with credit card paid and went confirmation email saying discount. More importantly went through quidco first for extra 5%.
I have declided that i want the new model and not the out going model that i have recieved"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
Hi all,
Which of these TVs in the 'new' one? Is it the one with the picture of the incredibles on it? This once describes itself as an IDTV including freeview.
Does anyone know if this has degraded features or if it's the same TV withthe freeview functionality.
Also, is there a way to get the 0% interest on this without going through the phone lines? I can't see a way to do that and it'd be nice not to have to shell out all that cash at once.
Thanks,
Dre... and that's all I have to say about that.0
