Is the cable from the network to the back of the cable box in correctly?

All i can really suggest is to run through the setup as described in the manual.

    Help!

Received the tv, but can't get it to work. We're got cable tv at the moment through NTL, and OH plugged the cable into 'antennae in' - the tv located BBC news 24, but we're unable to get any other channels. We keep getting a message saying 'no signal'.

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.
yes i had this problem for a few minutes whilst i tried to set up the tv with out consulting the tv manual. This si to do with setting up the digital channels if i remember rightly. there are two menu buttons. I fiddles around until i finally worked it out. Unfortuantely i boxed it back up until i get a wall mounting kit. Just was interested in seeing everything worked ok. Give me a couple of days and if you still havent sorted it PM me and i will have another look as to what i did.

Zorber you're talking about digital signals. Lois Lane has cable tv, which is an analogue signal - hence why they are using an aerial.

Thanks for your help viru.doshi. OH powered it off and left it for a while to get something to eat, when he tried again, the problems seemed to have cleared and now we're all systems go.

By the way Cheapskate - we did read the manual thoroughly before commencing, but the TV didn't follow the steps set out in the manual, as I said in a previous posting.

Cable TV, not Cable Digital TV - the signal recieved is not a digital.

Anyway, this is going off topic.
