Received the tv, but can't get it to work. We're got cable tv at the moment through NTL, and OH plugged the cable into 'antennae in' - the tv located BBC news 24, but we're unable to get any other channels. We keep getting a message saying 'no signal'.
I'd appreciate any suggestions."Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
zorber wrote:yes i had this problem for a few minutes whilst i tried to set up the tv with out consulting the tv manual. This si to do with setting up the digital channels if i remember rightly. there are two menu buttons. I fiddles around until i finally worked it out. Unfortuantely i boxed it back up until i get a wall mounting kit. Just was interested in seeing everything worked ok. Give me a couple of days and if you still havent sorted it PM me and i will have another look as to what i did.
Zorber you're talking about digital signals. Lois Lane has cable tv, which is an analogue signal - hence why they are using an aerial.I'm better off without you.0 -
Thanks for your help viru.doshi. OH powered it off and left it for a while to get something to eat, when he tried again, the problems seemed to have cleared and now we're all systems go.
By the way Cheapskate - we did read the manual thoroughly before commencing, but the TV didn't follow the steps set out in the manual, as I said in a previous posting.Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -

Not if its using digital cable technology it doesn't. And !!!!!! would you buy a HDTV flatscreen just to feed it with an analogue signal?
