The generally accepted recommended temperature for living rooms is 21C(try a Google) also by the Dept of Health.

I thought I had the same problem, but I actually think it's okay. Mine just seems to reset to 10.50p when you go to adjust it.:grouphug: Things can only get better.0

To check whether you're doing it correctly try puuting in an unusually high pence per hour eg. 99.50 & 240 Volts.
Then when you've finished setting it up it will hopefully reflect what you've put in by showing an extremely high pence per hour charge. If it doesn't try also turning some electrical items off & on again to force it to update its display.0 -
http://www.theowl.com/ Seems a competitive price with no p&p to pay - but only until 16th Feb !0

I have spoken to them directly and although all the intructions above are what the also emailed me, they have yet again changed it. When I went in the amend the voltage as my was 230 and not 240 they said not to press set after you pass through the CTY menu as it is already set for UK. My problem was that when I changed the voltage it also changed the pence back to the default. Anyhow it is all set up perfect now and is already saving us money my electric readings are almost half what the were last week. so it just shows how much more aware it does make you.TopCashback £1792.63My Little World0

Oh dear!! Oh my!!! I may never boil a kettle again! The oven is defo not going on and as for the hoover;) once a fortnight minimum:rotfl:
How anal can one of these things make you! The resting pulse rateis hovering between .7 and .8 but that wasn't really resting as there was 2 puters on and the fridge/freezer and the freezer in the garage. I will have a look when everything is switched off (by everything I mean all non essential use stuff) and see what it will be when we are all out at work.
I am not sure what figure I should be aiming for regarding the usageIs it anything below 1.2?
Yes I have read through this thread but I am not sure what it has told me and because of my great age I am struggling to remember:rolleyes:
Edited to say - got mine from Argos this morning for £34.99.Mags - who loves shopping0
