Morning all...not sure I am getting any better at waking up, especially after going for a run last night.

I have two lovely blisters on my feet from my run yesterday which kept me awake throbbing most of the night...that will teach me to run without socks on.

Off to work shortly but only a couple of weeks to go till part time woo hoo...what a relief....just have to manage my time at home effectively so that I don't go stir crazy or don't waste my time totally...

My pregnant DD went to see the bank yesterday and they were offered a mortgage for £134,000:eek: not much in our area for that price though and they can't really afford that much, but I am dead chuffed they have gone through their options and are making adult decisions for themselves. They are going to be moving out whatever so my nest is getting smaller...This might be the opportunity to foster that I have always wanted..

    Morning Sammy
You went running without socks on  you won't make that mistake again! It must be so nice to know that you will get a bit more time in a couple of weeks to do stuff (housework, study, MSE ;) ) I couldn't work full time, the house is a pig sty now as I never have enough time. Ive often thought about foster caring, but just no room at Chez x at the moment.

Busy day for me today, in fact I don't know why I am still sat here but hey need to get my fix for the morning!

Right must crack on, hope everyone has a good day

I didn't really intend to run without socks on...I went home to grab my kit at lunch time and went for a run straight from work forgetting I had tights on with my boots!! I have good blister plasters though!

Louise - hugs at your busy day but at least you are doing it in your own time, I spend many a minute at work furtively trying to arrange stuff or having to wait in on Saturdays for deliverys...

Morning - think I'm having the day from hell - the things I was worried about yesterday came quite spectacularly true and I think things are over with my new man. :(

He is being petty and childish and I'm not prepared to put up with it. So no matter how much it hurts, if he can't acknowledge he is at least partly to blame for our argument last night, and if he can't apologise for the hurtful things he's said, there's no future for us.

  • Maz-you're not supposed to pop blisters as it can lead to infections-not this is an EXTREME case but one of my Dad's friend nearly died from blood poisoning after he got a blister from his ice skates and popped it and it got infected...you're supposed to let them dry up...

Sammy-well done one you for fostering-It's something I've often thought of but we'd need a bigger house.

    Snags-(((hugs))) xxx

i really dunno what to say....

altho' i'm sure if you want things to, it'll sort itself out.....

don't let this affect your new positive self image cause you is a babe, and if he won't sort himself out, then some other bugga will snap you up soon enough.

Being on your own is not the end of the world.... but even still you won't be for long! plus you have the beautiful snagglekids to keep you busy...

Was the argument re your temporary lodger?
