Re: the vouchers situation.
I got 2 big books of them! PNo idea how many but probably 52 x 2. It does say they can't be used on other products. I know I like deserts but that's a lot even for me!
I did email her last night (thought I'd better do it while I remembered!) and she emailed back saying they were looking into it as she had noticed the date. Would have been nice to mention it to me though!
I did apologise for sounding ungrateful and she said it's not a problem and I can use the vouchers I have and in the meantime they're looking into getting more that expire in Jan 2010. So with the ones I have I will be spreading some around the family to see if they can be used before June!
Does anyone know if there's a limit you can use in one go? It says one voucher per product is accepted so I'll be stocking up next time I go to a large supermarket (whichever one that may be!) as my local doesn't appear to stock all the varieties! (what a pain!).I'll probably get about 10 items in one go and hope they don't say no at the checkout!Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A

Hi there,
I have been eyeing up this thread for around a year now and every now and then entering a few comps on here.
I dont know if anyone else has tried this before but i certainly worked for me.
In 2006 you may remember 50 cent relised a his film in the UK. At the time I was a massiv fan of him and would give anything to meet him. So what I done was entered all the comps I could find giving away premiere tickets, and then day before the premiere sent emails to all the companies asking if I had won. I suprisingly had a few replies saying "no" ( at least it was a response).
On the following morning day of the premiere I had a phone call from lovefilm.com from a lovely lady saying the competion winner had not claimed there prize, and as I seemed "eager" to win, did I want them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So obviously I was over the moon. So i suppose what im trying to say is if you really want that prize - chase them up on it!!!!!
Any thanks everyone for you links to comps!!!!

Question:
How do you find comps?
I'm trying to win babyshow and Vitality show tickets but can only find one. I even googled Win " " tickets but only the past shows came up.

My friend in the States sent me the link to a comp which I don't think is open to us Brits, but I wondered if anyone could help by recognising designer labels.
Link: http://crossroadstrading.com/cm/Contests/Name%20That%20Label/Pictures%20&%20Instructions.html
Name the label for each item to qualify to be in a drawing for a $25 gift card.
Any ideas would be welcome cos I have no idea!!!!
Cheers

Morning all, I've been entering comps for ages now but I only do the individual ones rather than regular daily or monthly. I'd like to start doing those too, so could any of you regulars help out with a foolproof system as to how to remember which ones you've done, need to do etc? I usually get on here most days but am stuck as to how to plan what I need to do?
Thanks a lot x0 -
I used to do the daily, weekly and monthly ones but I don't really have time anymore BUT I used to just enter the weeklys on the same day every week i.e. every Monday, enter the monthlys on the 1st day of every month and with the dailys just do them every day after i've caught up with the regulars. These days i'm lucky to just catch up!
NOW IN COMPING SEMI-RETIREMENT!

I've got 3 folders in my bookmarks - daily, weekly & monthly. I went through the regular comps board (gradually - it took a while) and bookmarked the ones that interested me. I try and check the board every couple of days for new ones. My weekly folder is marked 'weekly - done 14/01' and my monthly one is marked 'monthly done for Dec' I update the names as I do them each month/week.
Because they're all in one folder I can right click (in FF not sure about IE) and click open all in tabs. That way it opens each comp for me and I close the tab as I enter it. I also have most of them Roboformed, so it's really quick to go through. Some of them do get posted on the main board every month as well as being on the regular board, but after a couple of months you get to spot them and can either ignore on the main board, or delete from your regular folder.
Gilla keeps fab lists for the daily and weekly comps, but I tend to ignore the ones where you enter daily for a single prize - such as the cinema ones - and just do the ones where they give a different prize every day such as Sugar Mag, Gu Puds etc which is why I keep my own list rather than working from those
*Edit* I've had lots of wins from the regulars, so they're definitely worth doing if you can find the time. When I was doing my weeklies this week, I clicked Roboform on one to win a digital radio, and just before pressing submit, I noticed I was listed as the winner this week! They might have thought it was odd that I was entering again with the same album details I'd just won with!Al Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½
