Hi, i have been told off for putting this on the postal comps board :D so i'll ask in here, whenever i do postal comps i use a blank postcard and write my details and answer on one side and the address it's going to on the other side, is this wrong/will it affect my chances as it seems most people on the postal thread write all of it on the same side

Dont feel you have been told off for it, I have replied to you in that thread aswell, I would have asked that question in there too as thats where it is relevant

I posted that I normally write my address on one side and the address its going to on the other, but I dont enter many postal comps:D

hi grannysmither, i know :D saw the reply

can't speak for anyone else, but i print my own p/cards from greeting card factory, always put a piccie on the front of them, if printers broke &/or if i have to make /buy any, i always just use the back of the p/card, putting the address TO on the right hand side, & my address/p/code etc on the left side turning the p/card lenghtways so my address is reading across as opposed to downwards, also write a big FROM across the top of it, hth x

I've just started doing postal comps. The postcards I have are blank on one side and on the other they say 'POSTCARD' and then there are lines for the address and postcard to be written on. On the blank side I write my answer and details on the side. I can't see that doing it this way would be a problem.

no, shouldn't think so, think i'll try doing some as well that way, some of the p/card comps say you can use a sealed down envelope so that's just the same as the way you do your p/cards & i've had winners from the s/d/e before :)

I entered a comp on the piggy site...(the little pink piglet) for a trip to Florida and was told today that I have won a trip to Europe for four, return airfares and 'luxury' accommodation all included! To get the prize I have to attend a 2 hour seminar in London this weekend to hear about time-share properties, although they kept saying that there is ABSOLUTELY NO OBLIGATION for me to buy or rent anything.
Do I run a mile? Has anyone else been brave and done it? Was it good/bad or just an ugly hard sell exercise? Would love to take OH and DDs to the sea, but would hate to give them the holiday memory from H...!
    Any comments gratefully received.

You will get the hard sell if you go the 'presentation'.

    Probably Club La Costa (CLC)

You'd probably have had the call had you not entered the Florida Competition!

    Sounds like a scam, I wouldn't bother.

NO genuine competitions come with such ridiculous things as this.
