Debate House Prices

In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. This includes wider debates about general house prices, the economy and politics. As a result, we have taken the decision to keep this board permanently closed, but it remains viewable for users who may find some useful information in it. Thank you for your understanding.

  • Well done people, what a lovely thread all the new users to the forums will find when they arrive here from Martin's email, troubled over looming redundancy and the problems they may face.

Well done DD - still can't answer the question, but can manage to make rude insinuations to me, !!!!!! and Pobby, all in one thread designed to discuss a new Board for those who need help.

Well done, you must be really proud!
  • I don't recall making rude observations about Pobby and as far as yourself and !!!!!!, I am just simply remembering a forum discussion conducted a few months ago that is in the public domain. Don't shoot the messenger carol.

As far as answering the question, I've forgotten what it was. That's the thing with humour carol, it's all about timing. You blew it. If this was a dinner party, people would be looking at their shoes in embarrassment while you try and explain the joke. Someone would cough and say, "Yes, um, quite." and then we'd all quietly shuffle away from you, hoping not to get stuck in a corner with you for the rest of the evening.

Leave humour to those people who know what they're doing... ;)

Why not PM mewbie for tips, he is an absolute riot - though do try and keep the PM clean!

Show me a forum without this kind of stuff and I'll show you an empty forum.
As I've said before..... its all good clean fun.... mostly.

We need opinionated, vociferous people to stand their corner. They are the most valuable contributors. Occasionally they fall out.
If someone really does need help I'm sure they'll look at more than one thread.
