    Hi All

Wha a gorgeous day...yesterday here was completely overcast so today has been BRILL! :j:j:j:j

A very dirty (but not smelly) Wol has just finished sorting out all compost bins....I now have two fermenting nicely and four half ones to empty onto the garden over the coming weeks.

I discovered the nest by accident........in one of the big bins....heard the babies start squealing as the fork went in....they can;t have been more than a couple of days old if she was pulling straw out of the pigs cages on friday...so I'm afraid I took the cowards way out and put the hose into the nest from a distance (no way was I going to expose my face/arms/neck to a mumy rat protecting her young ...I had one jump onto my shoulder once from the dustbin....still gives me the shivers even now!)

So hopefully Mrs Ratty will now leave and go back upstream..I have to say I don;t feel good about it ....:(...even though I know she'd have been in and wounded/killed my guineas first chance she got........

Off for a bath and back later all clean and sweet smelling ;)

Wol, I hope it goes okay. My brother in law's funeral last month was incredibly difficult to face, and most of us were crying our eyes out, but once it was over, it was fine ... speaking to people, enjoying their company, reminiscing about my brother in law, looking at the pictures of him that had been set up, reading the cards and emails everyone had sent, it was a wonderful summary of his life.

    Lots of hugs.

    Thanx KC

I feel the same...dreading the service but looking forward to the pub afterwards........so many old friends will be there....and we'll deffo give him a good send off!
Hugs to you Hun........hope things are settling down for you after all the sadness of the past weeks..............:grouphug::grouphug:

Either your fork is blunt, or you missed...

Whichever way it takes, it doesn't matter. In the old days you could have led a hosepipe from the back of your car, but in these days of catalytic convertors, there's not a great deal of CO left in exhausts...

It's a rat...you've been laying poison - how much more of a hint does it need?
