    Hi KC
    :hello::hello:....Glad to see you back.

    Nice try shaun....unfortunately when I experimented with this I found they leave more hairs than they pick up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Don;t worry Horace.....Pebble is sending a rude raspberry to Uncle Z :p.....and will make sure next time he comes down that she eats plenty of dandelions so she can "do-a-Lula" ;)

    Glad to see you got back safely Numpty Hun and thanks for all your help. Piggies stayed outside......we had two lots of cloudbursts one at 8pm thursday evening and the other woke me up in a panic at 2am firday morning...however stream is behaving beautifully.

    Been a bit low recently as was informed a dear friend of mine (actually he was my very first ever boyfriend ) was tragically killed in an RTA earlier this week......he'd just beaten leukaemia and when he came down to help me move last year was full of hope for the future. He really was one of the nicest men you could hope to meet...and i was looking forward to seeing him in the next few weeks as he was coming down my way....I feel very sad for his family that this has happened now after everything they've been through together...they must be devastated. Spent yesterday tearfully writing letters of condolence...:sad:.
    Today I'm reclaiming the house after moving the guineas back out on thursday (again!) but off to do a grocery shop first and get some more hay. Grommie guinea is still losing weight slowly which is a bit worrying...but he's eating and drinking well, with no further respiratory problems... so maybe it's just old age.....if there's no inprovement over the weekend he'll be back to the vets on monday..(think it's time I negotiated a discount with my vet!)

    Good luck with the interview Numpty :T:T

    Hugs to all
    xxx

    Hi Wol. Very, very sorry to hear about your friend. That combination, to have beaten leukaemia and then a sudden death in an RTA, is appalling. My heart goes out to you.

    You have my condolences Wol...it sure is a tragic loss:grouphug:

    How about this for a laugh - the chap I chucked out last week rang me this morning to ask me to go to London today to help him out, seems that the stupid twonk left his grill on when he cooked himself some burgers on Thursday night and didnt switch it off properly, so he goes to work and then from work heads to the pub (he spends far too much time in that place plus he can't hold his drink and can be quite nasty when he's had a few:mad:), he gets home - ignores the fact that smoke is billowing from the kitchen, he can't smell anything either, strips off lies on the bed. Gets woken this morning by a fireman standing over his bed, they managed to get in through the steel security door (picked the lock) and then through his front door (again heavy steel) to put the fire out in the kitchen. They gave him some leaflets about smoke alarms and now he has to go and buy a new cooker:rotfl: I suggested he claim on his insurance only he turned round and said that insurance was for common people - more like sensible people, I have insurance. Still he is there now trying to sort out the mess and here I am tittering away and about to go to a wedding dinner. I know I shouldnt laugh but I think its quite funny that he nearly burned down the flats:D
