I had the same idea and was thinking of buying a cheap cot size fleece for the lining from home bargains, which were only a couple of pounds each if I don't manage to pick one up from the charity shop.icon7.gif

Ikea have some baby blue fleece blankets for £1.49.

This beautiful little pin cushion uses a bottletop and would be a great stocking filler or gift for a crafty person http://www.craftstylish.com/item/27882/my-brown-cake-pincushion

If he is phobic about buttons you could always use some thing else themed to your room or craft use giant press studs painted or beads

My mum is on weight watchers so I am going to pinch a pair of her "big jeans" to make one of these. She would love it!

she grinch - doesn't matter about OH's button phobia..........my little den/computer room is just that - mine !! I've got my mum framed in one covered in buttons............I love 'em..............:rotfl:
Mind you for any kind of craft stuff I have to occupy the kitchen table........nearly all of it.............lol But we've got a clock in there.
I did mention it to him and he was even looking around the house to find a suitable bread board - I collect them so they're all over my kitchen wall..............lol

You have just made my brain go off on another track as I was thinking that a kitchen clock could be made from kitchen bits and bobs. like using a breadboard with number cookie cutters for instance

she grinch................there are endless variations if you really think about it.
And old vynl record would be good -can't think what else you could use other than numbers on that though
I've got a CD clock and don't think there are any on that, nor are there on the one made out of an old polish tin.
