Just done my first 'recycled' bit - not really exciting but I've just put extra stuffing in the draft stopper I got from mums that was stuff in a drawer upstairs, and re-covered it........took ages to find the right material and in the end I found some sort of rust/cream chenille and used that. Had to do it by hand and as its a sort of 'ethnic' pattern not sure what else I can do to decorate it except put some brown ribbon round it. Couldn't face any more stitching so I'll think on that one.
    Still, I've made a start :j

I've got some picture frames and pictures that need sorting out -some of the really plain ones need a bit of 'oomph' if you know what I mean, but not sure what yet.Have to see what I've got laying about.
I'm really pleased with the draft stopper........its given me a bit of a kick start -much needed...........:j

I've just found a jar of pebbles I'd got.......wel they're not all pebbles, some of them are sort of crystals. Any ideas on what I can do with them ? There is one pebble among them that'll be perfect for using on top of a bottle to hide a key but the others all vary in size.........not sure I could edge a picture frame with them. If I did that what sort of glue would I have to use ?

Has anyone got ideas for what i could do with loads( and i mean loads!) of t-shirts, apart form rag rugs which i'm having a break form at the mo, i'm a bit stuck.
Really scruffy ones get cut up for rags but i'd like to make something out of the others, maybe to give as pressies, i've got lots of different colours and sizes.:)
