Does anybody have any ideas for recycling Denim jeans? I have lots of pairs that aren't good enough to go to the charity shop, and I don't want to just chuck them in the rag bin?

Poppygirl what about making a quilt? The ones with frayed seams look really good. If you look on utube at denim patchwork quilts some should come up.

I've seen them turned into cushions with the back pockets kept to pop things into.
Cut them to fit a notice-board?
Have also seen where a leg is cut in half & cut open & then stitched to the front of the jean which has been unpicked from the back & from the legs to make a gardening apron.
