Wouldn't you need a lorry load of large pop bottles to make the curtain!! but it looked great. A primary school near me advertised in the local paper for bottles as they built a greenhouse! Don't think that would make a gift 'though!
Does anyone have the details for making a brooch out of fabric (upcycling!!) circles that Kirsty had on one of her Christmas programmes last year? I think it used 17 circles folded in half which were somehow stitched together into a circle (like spokes of a wheel) then a fancy button sewn in centre. When it came to the sewing together the programme whizzed over that bit!! perhaps I'll just have to watch the whole programme over again on line if its still available (grrrrr>>)Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

Today I came across instructions to make these gift boxes made from old greetings cards:
(Picture is from the website)
Instructions here
For a 'new look' you could cover any inside message with a piece of co-ordinating plain or patterned paper.

Thanks qwiksave, I made similar last year out of old christmas cards and used them to put in teen nieces and nephews vouchers in with a few choc coins, made it into something to wrap up then!0
