I bought a flu kit from the 99p store and remade the header card and added disposable gloves, nappy sacks and tongs to the already existing antibacterial hand gel, face masks and wipes

Spent this morning making coaster calendars -OH got me a load of beer mats from the pub and I'm trying to use up some odd bits of scrapbook paper.

Got a pair of plum coloured socks - they were in a pack of 'emergency stuff' you get in hospital (toothbrush,toothpaste and socks) - had them over a year now and I'll never wear them so had the idea of doing ''sock jam''........roll them up and put them in a little jar. Googled to see if there's any special way and can only find stuff about doing it with baby socks. The socks I've got are very plain and wasn't sure whether to add something to it put not a clue what........unless I just pop some soap in the jar to make it a more interesting pressie.

I have been making the baby sock jam now for about 2 years i just roll them and put them in the jar as nice and tidy as i can

Giggle - by the time I'd rolled socks up and put them in the jar, popped a fabric topper on and a label they looked really good. I even did another when I found a pair of socks I knew I'd never wear. Both received with a lot of laughter and thought they were brilliant:T
