Actually, I've just signed back on to ask this question of those who have a breadmaker...

Am I the only one daft enough, when I take the freshly baked load out, to leave the lid of the machine open so the residual heat helps warm the surroundings?

Bonkers mad I really must be!:rotfl:

Yes, I do :o And I deliberately set my washer dryer to come on overnight, even if I could have air-dried the clothing during the day, so that my kitchen is toasty in the mornings - in my defence I'm on Economy 7 so it's 75% cheaper overnight (although considerably more expensive than air drying :rotfl:), the washing pile gets smaller quicker, I have no heaters on upstairs, ever, and I only do it during really cold snaps :o

Right, ebay items as sorted as I can do. Awaiting on people getting back to me. I have a wonderful job tomorrow - I need to list DD's Harry Potter swaps...it may take some time as I think there's around 150 of them  Need to tidy up, wash some dishes and then off to bed, hopefully by 11pm :o

I couldn't find the christmas trees!!!! But these kinda represent my day and I hoped they'd stand out enough for pigpen et al to notice I'm here!! First date today...and he took me to a chocolatiers for coffee...gained lots of brownie points in doing so!

As declared when I nipped in last week to pick your brains would love to join in this week. Am cheating a little as blitzed my flat last week to impress estate agents...but its amazing how many places I found to cram stuff out of sight... so my extra challenge this week is to tackle one of those random corners, and to demolish the huge stack of photos I have. DD is seven now and there are still (cringe) lots of excess baby pics to sort out!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone got any lovely ideas for all those pics that don't make it into the albums?

Oh my, dustykitten, how do you stay awake? I have been known to mirror someone else on the other side of the room and see how long it takes them to notice.

If it is a big exam I walk about alot and do little surveys like - how many kids have trainers on/how many are left handed/do they have official or knock off sweatshirts on:rotfl:

Small exams where I am on my own I create mental to-do-lists/meal plans/garden plans/reread the rule book - handy last year when a call came over the radio that somebody had puked all over their exam paper and knew which page and paragraph the response was on :rotfl:
