I'm up... but my get up and go doesn't seem to have got up with me!
I actually got up a couple of hours ago to switch off the SC, but went back to bed to read for a bit. I've now opened the curtains and windows and eaten breakfast, so need to get myself moving. I really DO need to get at least part of the way towards clearing the study today!0 -

Haven't been around much the last few days - I managed to spin my car on a roundabout the other day when I hit a patch of mud - I'm fine just shook up and by some fluke so is the car, although I did think it was going to flip over when we mounted the island wall - but I think myself very lucky.
That must have been really scary:eek:
It might be worth having the tracking looked at - walloping th kerb can send the wheels out of line. I got picked up on a vehicle check last year cos of this:eek: - my very first police caution.
Today I have cleaned out the fridge - binned all the out of date sauces and pickles.
I have sorted 2 kitchen cupboards so far - got come folding boxes from B&Q yesterday (£1.98 each)
Have peeled and sliced oodles of apples and they are now in the dehydrator.
Set the BM to make dough for rolls.
OH is ironing:j :j (I'm not a fan of this task)
So now a coffee I think:D0 -
Morning everyone.
I hope everyone in bad weather areas are safe and well. Its icy here and little wind but looking at the weather the winds are heading this way tomorrow.
Mof77 Hugs for your sisterand hope you are all ok.
Kaz Hope the old lady is ok. That was good thinking.
lil_me I was wondering where JillD was too. Ive lost 4lb but its a combination of really trying and then being ill and not eating much.
Triker. Like your avatar and Im trying to think of her name. A very good actress.
Crafty The weather where you are is often the same as here. I have a brother there.
licklegibbon Glad you are ok after your accident.
Still not feeling a 100% but getting there.
Have found all the files I thought I had lost on the comp so will sort that out some more today. Looks like my profile was corrupted and they had been put in the D drive.

Got sidetracked - thanks JayJay - I went to the local garage yesterday and they kindly slung it on the ramp and checked the tracking and the underneath of the car for me gratis - I didn't want to risk the motorway without checking I hadn't damaged the axles or inside of the tyres.
Late in but off I go for HHC..................................I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Its a bit late but I'll join you in the HCCWe don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.0

Blimey, I've just pegged out a line of washing and the wind is bitterly cold. I may revise the really long walk with the dog and make it the usual short one!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Awww, Valli, an engagement in the family then? How nice!
Boddy Trikers avatar is the incomparable Margaret Rutherford ... related, somehow to Tony Benn apparently (check the chin!)
Liking that one Triker
It's given me an idea...

Everybody ok? no damage or accidents? I hope so!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

No not an engagement (at 13 & 15  ) just a friendship ring...
Awwww - that's still nice. Best friend up the road called and asked if she could use some of my credits for 1911 (I bought a lot to get a cheap deal) as she's really skint I have, of course, said yes. She'll wander down soon.
S&S'd the kitchen. Better S&S my bedroom now as that's where the 'puter is...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

That's really nice of you because even at the 'cheap' rate they aren't cheap.
I originally bought a few credits to see what you got for your money and when I saw I bought a lot more credits.
