I'm going to do a HHI now while you're all in bed - except Flower who will be all lovey-dovey with her DH before he goes to work!

Ahh, those were the days... just about got a goodbye kiss this morning... :D Good luck with your HHI - I'll cheer you on from my pit!!! :rotfl:

Well, I didn't get to bed in the end - I stayed up doing these accounts, but I am finally tired (wonder why?) so am going to bed now. I am going to try to get up around 10am'ish so that I'm tired tonight, but not sure if that will actually happen or not...;)

Hope you are all safe and well with the winds last night - was very blowy and noisy here but no-where near as bad as where some of you were...

Pigpen, any news??? we're all on tenderhooks...

Morning all. I hate early mornings!!!

    Plan for today

trya and sort out kitchen (AGAIN!!!!!) DP never does it when I'm at work, just makes it worse.
    Catch up on washing
    Tidy kids room a bit
    Work 11-2 (breakcover)

Going to take it easy as I have done something to my hand which is making it really difficult to hold/pick stuff up and do general every day stuff. IT HURTS!!!! lol

Mouth or rather, jaw still hurting, just got up to let chickens out and take medication.

Got a huge list that we want to do today in order to get some order to the house.

    Will post later.

Hope those will the terrible weather to contend with are all safe and well and not too much damage to property.

  • Morning Flygang!

What a terrible night - not heard wind like that for a long time.

    Today is looking like

    Buy new iron.
    A couple of HHI's
    Sunday lunch
A couple of HHC's on toy sorting out
    Hoover ground floor
    Dailies
Check outside of house and garden, sheds etc for damage - we heard a loud bang & crack at one stage.
    Play scaletrix
    Supervise maths homework

    have a lovely day everyone,

    Moam

Hope everyone is safe. Lots and lots of marking for me today. Will s&s the kitchen, cook for the week and freeze. I will also maintain a tiday downstairs in case any one pops by. Then before bed I’ll do some ironing. DH will be using the pc most of today and I’ll pop on every time he shifts himself to have a catch up.
    Happy flying irie.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Can we have a check-in from those in the West please - esp. NI and Wales?
Wind died down here and blue sky at the moment (East coast) but forecast is mentioning the 's' word

Just waiting for my Sunday pill to go down then I can have some brekkie and shower and dress - then attack the washing.

Nicki - I don't normally comment on other people's lists (glasshouses and all that) but that gas inspection has been on yours for some time.

MOAM just seen your post - hope there is no serious damage.

Dusty I've used the balls ones, work well. Have you tried dismantling the pump area and cleaning it out? Did that on ours when it was blocked up and it's been loads better since.
I forgot to mention (where has JillD gone?) I weighed myself, lost 3lb this week, yay!

Thanks I may give that a try but I may need some instruction.

Jill's DH is in the states this week, I think hers is back today so she's probably been rushed off her feet - hope you survived hun.

    Morning all

Just getting DS2 off to footie then to the shower for me.

    morning peeps :hello:

it's been raining and raining but it looks quite bright now!

house looks great after the marathon cleaning and tidying over the last 3 days.
we just have to work our way through boxes which 'hide' some stuff - but still that should be much easier!

my back is slowly easing up after being bent over the last few days and on my knees alot and running backwards and forwards - so a relaxing day for me today :j
might try and sneak a hot bath in somewhere ;)

there are obviously always things to do so a mini list:
    - put dinner on now (meatloaf and mashed pots), need to be ready before 4pm for OH to take into work
    - dw
    - washing

kids got up at 7.20 :j (anything past 6am is great in our house!), and ds decided to get his own clothes and even dressed himself - he's really good with that lately!
    but he hates tidying up!
dd on the other hand is very lazy with learning to dress herself but is quite good with tidying up ... now, how do i combine those 2

lil_me well done on your weight loss!! :T

does anyone know a foolproof easy muffin recipe?!? i am rubbish at baking :o
