Hi please count me in this week.
Have been looking at this thread for a while but it all looks so exhausting. Nearly joined last week but didnt & didnt do much housework either! Now realise that since very little housework has been done since Christmas I desparately need an incentive so I will start with level 1 & see how I get on.
The only thing that I am ever organised with is keeping the washing up to date & everybodys shoes clean as I've always loved cleaning shoes

    since I have a cold I'll have a G&T with lemon - medicinal see;)
    thanks:D

G&T is only medicinal for malaria - the quinine in the tonic don't you know. So, what you should be asking for is a medicinal G&T to help prevent malaria (which is clearly working because you don't have it) along with a brandy chaser to help with the cold..... :D

Thanks for the list and i'm back in again this week.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

There are quite a few teachers on here. I'm a primary school teacher myself. Chamichelle is a secondary science teacher but she is on maternity leave at the moment. Serena is a secondary languages teacher, Valli is a primary teacher, Froddington is a special needs teacher, there are quite a few TAs on here too, and my mind has gone blank but I'm sure that there is another teacher on here too. Apologies to anyone I've missed. I know nicki is training in school at the moment, but don't know if it's to be a TA or a teacher.

I'm training to be a TA in a primary school (year 6 kids or top juniors in old school terms ;) ), but I'm studying for a degree so I can become a teacher in a secondary school :rotfl::rotfl: I just like confusing people :D:rotfl::rotfl:

Dusty - I'll give the ebay challenge a go! Never used turbo lister - how do I go about this  ? Not sure I'll manage to list stuff every day but I'll do my best.

I think it is an ebay tool that you download from your account - you can list in the usual way if you like, I just find it easier to use turbolister.

And has guiness not got loads of vitamins in it?

I might just have a whisky and lemonade....better safe than sorry eh?

Welcome milliejo and dont be put off by what looks like work being done - its a struggle for (nearly) all of us!!! You already have the makings of being organised - keeping up to date with the washing and cleaning shoes is a great start - just try adding another thing every week and keep it going?

In case you havent read the whole thread here is what i posted to the other newbies!
WORD OF WARNING -dont try to keep up with the thread or you will get nothing done!!!! And pigpen our illustrious leader has a very good aim with her new pink fluffy mules if she catches you slacking!!!:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:

WELCOME TO THE WEEKLY FLYLADY(AND GENTS) THREAD

You have definately come to the right place if you want to make a difference in your home.
A new thread is starts on a Sunday evening via a link from the current thread so keep a watch out and dive in!

Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!

A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.

Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children, OH's, pets, etc!!!!

Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!

Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.

Post what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!

Dont worry if you cant keep up with the thread it moves very fast just now - just pop in and post and let everybody know how you are doing!

The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane!

We dont bite - well most of us dont -have fun!!
WELCOME to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!
    toots xx:D :D
    Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

I don't believe whats happened. 5 people have placed orders for stickers (and paid) and I haven't got enough of the stickers that they've requested (one person has asked for 10 and I only have 2 of the ones he's asked for :o ), so messages all around to them, listing slowly updated properly (actually sat with the stickers in my hands and double checked them). Now to get on with the other sold items

I will be joining in with the ebay challenge - I'd like the shelves in the corner of my livingroom cleared before I finish in March, not to mention the help it would be to my bank balance :o:rotfl::rotfl:

*wanders off to find the books & DVDs she's sold...*

    What's your degree in nicki?

Next weekend we will be halfway through the academic year (not that I'm counting :o)

Should be book marking - I have marked half a set, and I teach them tomorrow morning . Also need to pack my school bag - anyone else get to take anything as exciting as waterproof coveralls? (I am fencing with my rural scientists - I love a class with mock results (and predicted grades) ranging from A* to U)
