    Dont be spiteful.

Throwing accusations around like you have done is AGAINST the rules of this site.

I have hundreds of THANKS from people but I do not need to justify my posting history to you. You can be patehtically judgemental all you like.

    Your funny.

    He called MSers 'disgusting'.

I find that is an insult. What he doesn't realise is that a lot of people here have NO OPTION but to find ways of moneysaving for their own financial survival.

Whether he was sarcasrtic is irrelevant. It was an uncaring and abusive post and it was uncalled for.

    More sarcasm I'm afraid.

Is the wine 'offer' still on shelves? Do Tescos still do their money back guarantee if charged more than the shelf price? If so, I'm giving that a try later. :)
As a PowerSeller, I never leave feedback first. The reason I do this is because I know how much it winds the people on the forums up...

I am a stock control manager for a Scottish store, thats about as much as I will tell you. Its more of an annoyance when people think they can take advantage of obvious mistakes. Yes everyone will scream at me "how am I supposed to know," but it wouldn't wash with me, if a customer was pretty genuine then in the interests of customer service I'd allow them a bottle, but picking up a £15 bottle is a bit extreme.

And for Bumble, no I'm not a glorified shelf stacker, stock control managers are actually the people who order the stock and try to make sure that the products are available in store, so my job is actually more office based, however that said, I'm not scared of going to fill a shelf.

It would be pretty simple for Tesco to qualify their statement as they so often do with small print. Instead they choose not to and then you have the nerve to 'suggest' you would be only to happy to 'discuss' the deal in person should someone try and take Tesco up on their offer. That kind of talk is cheap when you know realistically you will not be in the front line having to defend the offer (which legally means "Any bottle"). To be loyal is good but if Asda were running this offer would you side with the store or enforce your legal right.

I went into tesco yesterday, there were still small shelf edge P.O.S. labels saying 'any wine'. If tesco were bothered they could easily get a member of staff (shareholder!) to use a black marker to block out 'any'. But, I suppose that would be too simple/unprofitable?

But your neither, I've read back through your posts, your quite an aggressive and abusive poster at times and by no means pleasant. The only funny thing about your posts is your apparent inability to comprehend sarcasm. Your finest faux pas being to brandish your thanks count as a weapon against someone with 7 times as many thanks as yourself in only twice as many posts like it makes a blind bit of difference anyway.

Moongarden, I was refused a £6.99 bottle of wine....I wasn't trying to push my luck too far.

My 'meal deal' was quite confusing. apparently none of the items I chose were part of the deal, although I had picked some of them from the indicated shelves!!! The offer has changed, I was told, but last weeks items were still there, with all the signs, on the display. none of this weeks items were yet available.
I voiced my displeasure, as in my view, it was a con to anyone who thought they were getting the 'meal deal' as there was no way of actually getting the deal, without the products being available, I think it wrong to keep the display KNOWING there is no such offer, and no substitions being made.. It was pointed out both to customer service and the diary manager, and the signs are still there, without the new products, so therefore no offer for anyone wishing to indulge in a T's finest meal deal tonight.

I am absolutely appalled that despite having two conversations, there was no attempt to remove the signage, or indicate they were out of stock of of all the elements, so thereforr the deal was invalid.

    Rant over.
Will have to wear wig next time..........
    Loving the sunny days!
