Then you find out where he is working and tell Inland Revenue hey presto caught on two counts! (not that I am mean or anything!)

It isn't as easy as all that! The Inland Revenue can take up to 6 months to update their records so even if he is working they don't always know. Finding out yourself where he works can be very difficult unless you follow him and that isn't really a viable option most of the time. It sounds very easy, but it isn't.

Keep on at tehm, write, phone etc, I know it is very hard, the more you bug them the more likely they are to do somethiing so you stop annoying them.

If his friends work for CSA still and they are helping him write in a complaint giving their names, copy this to you MP the MP in charge of the CSA. If they are doing this then they need to be disciplined for it!

His daughter used to visit us once a week to see her little brother and she would innocently tell me things that he was doing in his life ( I never forced her honest!!:D). So in the past I was able to get this info but he has managed to posion her against me now claiming I won't let him see his son:mad: christ I can't force him to babysit (as he calls it!! )

Short of following him to work I will never find out what he is doing. I never have a rest from the kids so if I did decide to[strike] stalk[/strike] follow him, it would mean dragging kids along with me and I am not going to put my kids through that!!

When he asks for daddy I feel like commiting hari kari:eek:
    I'm not a "SINGLE" mum, I'm a "DOUBLE" mum!:D
  • Actually when i lost contact a few yrs ago with my ex, my friend saw his mother talking about my ex when he just went in the army, i rung up csa and told them where he was working and it all happened from there, it's difficult if they move jobs alot cos inland revenue do take mths to update records and stuff.
  • Hi

A friend of mine has just recieved a leter from the CSA threatening to use a debt agency to claim back unpaid payments from 1993?!? Of course he will ring them up and dispute this but we were just wondering if there's any law like "not being able to claim monies so far back" before he does.

He has made payments since but this seems to be some long lost payments which they've just discovered??? Any advice?

    Thanks people!

He needs to ask the following questions:

    1. How much is owed
    2. for what period he owes it
    3. A breakdown of all monies owed and paid

He can then make a decision as to whether he should dispute it.

djdido2 look at your wee man and feel proud everything he is, is down to you!
Stand strong and don't let others walk all over you please don't give up keep fighting the CSA, you will be surprised how much inner strength you have it's not over till the fat lady sings! (and i ain't singing yet)

My son's father denied paternity made us all go through DNA testing  why i dunno know. My son has seen his father twice in his entire life and he is now 12 yrs, i will continue to make sure i do my upmost and if that means phoning the CSA every second day then so be it.

Look at what you have achieved!!
