UW aren't mentioned since they only resell CPW/Talktalk's LLU product where available, they are not an LLU operator in their own right.

Nope, they have no equipment of their own in any exchange and are not classed as an ISP on any reputable review site. "Members" do try to get accreditation on www.thinkbroadband.com from time to time, latest here - http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/showthreaded.php?Board=newsite&Number=3540732
Certainly they use CPW in my exchange - they may use other cheaper options where available.
Business offerings can come from Mistral (Kingston Communications).

Easy to prove, any UW LLU customers can go to http://speedtest.net and do a test. ISP will appear in the results, I'm with ADSL24 an Entanet reseller

Hi Deklan, your correct, i always thought our network was provided by Opel Telecom.Im just about to use speedtest myself.
Are all those providers on samknows or whatever have their own infrastructure or resell?

(cant mantion the name)Why are they not there?

Choc is a uw rep and cynically searches these boards for any thread which gives him the opportunity to advertise uw.

Here he claims to know all about broadband (and presumably sells it to any gullible mates he can), but clearly from this post it seems he doesn't even understand what Samknows is all about :

Quentin, there again anrnt you.As you know im not full time with UW so there fore cannot keep up with everything.Ive always thought opel telecom was our provider but the package itself was ours, which is ours, which has just won best BB provider 2008.
What i was getting at is,is everyone of the providers mentioned on Samknows a company whom owns its own infrastructure? or not. If not how do they get a mention and the best BB provider doesnt?
By thw way Quentin,my gulable mates are now on the BEST deal there is!!!

If you knew what you were talking about you would know that samknows is not a site to go to see all isps!

But you do know that - you just post here to advertise your company (even though it breaks the site rules) irrespective of what the thread is about!
