Evening all
sending good wishes through to Pips mum again today - hope all is going well!!
Today has not been a very good day for me
Slept off and on until about 5pm tonight!! (eek) Still, meant i didnt use power or eat too much.
Went to Tesco, I needed bread but went a bit over board. Ok a lot overboard. In fact I am embarrassed and really angry at myself.
I took £30 out the hole in the wall to cover £10 electric and some groceries as well as giving me a few bits and bobs during the week.
Started off really well. Spent £1 on a lucky dip lottery. Went to the mag rack and spent 10 mins reading my normal weekly celeb rag instead of buying and then I just lost it from there! Got to check out and it all came to £29.07. Instead of saying put something back, I asked them to put £10 on my card and paid the rest in cash. Now of course, no money for gas and going to have to do the banking hokey cokey tonight to make sure all my commitments get paid.
So tonight, going to chill and watch CSI, eat some of my damn expensive food, sort out my banking and start afresh tomorrow again!DFW 228 LONG H 68

Batch cooked chicken bits in "better than Jaymie Oliver" recipe. Dried washing on rack. Cleaned bathroom with stardrops and vinegar. Logged on to bank account and paid a bit extra off my Virgin card. Had a fag (one only over two days - I`m not giving up on moral reasons : don`t want to be coward scared of cancer or a do gooding given up person). God, what a dull life.Debt September 2020 BIG FAT ZERO!
Now mortgage free, sort of retired, reducing and reusing and putting money away for grandchildren...0 -
Is it too late to join in?
I didn't do much today. no spends on food. I had my class today (all part of the bigger plan.
Then I went to see Twilight... again! (Me and my mum this time. She loved it too)
That's all. I'm rubbish!:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!

Had a weep and cry over D Dad's birthday,(no longer with us and b'day next week). Also over ex OH who decided he didn't want to come for tea tonight
Still instead of throwing the pack of lamb mince away as I didn't cook it for tea ( I had crisps). I found a recipe in OS forum and have put keema mixture in the SC instead to cook overnight then refreeze tomoz.
Previously before this forum I would have thrown it away - not now!!! Being strong! Bit fed up as no room left in freezer and have 3 meals to eat before Monday, hmmm not going to happen, will have to try and squeeze one in or leave lamb mix until Mon tea.
Anyway not moving away from my DFW small things as they all help. Just a bit fed up tonight as my name suggests

Sorry you are feeling down fedupandskint :heartpuls
Re the food - I sometimes do the freezer shuffle when I am short on space. As long as meals haven't already come out of freezer leave in fridge then tomorrow, take a couple of things out of freezer that you will eat Mon, Tuesday and put the stuff in fridge into the freezer in their place. Let the frozen stuff defrost slowly in fridge and you then have a bit of extra time to get through the stuff without waste. Hope you understand what i mean:rolleyes:0 -
