Morning everyone! It's a normal work day for me today, but I am off tomorrow which is a lovely thought.
Bit of background to my new found DFW re-invigoration- Hubby and I are currently trying too conceive so at the moment need to be as frugal as possible to enable me to have maximum available mat leave when the time comes. Sorry, I'm digressing a bit but you're all so lovely over here, and we're not telling anyone in 'real life' so it's nice to be able to chat about it.
Okay, today's list looks like-
-Free daily scratchcards
-Two Dooyoo reviews- so close to another Amazon voucher which is going towards Xmas 09!
-Aiming for a no spend weekend- not sure if I will do it as we need milk, but I might get OH to give me the money for that so it doesn't ruin my effort.
-Storecupboard breakfast (banana loaf- mmmmmmm), lunch (packed lunch for work) and dinner (just me so could be anything)
Can't think of anymore but that'll do to start.

Morning all (afternoon?)
Not posted for a few days but have been behaving, had a NSD Wed and Thu, and yesterday had a meeting in Northampton, made toast to eat on the train down, and took a little bottle of juice poured out from big carton in fridge. Had to pay for lunch but will hopefully be able to claim that back. Had two glasses of wine with friends in the pub after the meeting but then got a much earlier train back so I wasn't tempted to buy any more!
Anyway, today:
Daily scratchcard, 20p
Checked online banking, all fine
Did washing in laundrette, was going to put it in for a service wash as also had to go to Sainsburys but decided to put it in the machine myself and dash to the shops and back before the cycle had finished! Saved £1.60 on price of service wash.
Used soapnuts for the first time for the wash, as far as I can tell they work really well, there's a free sample (75p postage) on the freebies board somewhere so if you haven't used them give them a try, they work out at 3p a wash and they're eco friendly. Will definitely get more.
Just got what was needed in Sainsburys as didn't have time to browse, got basics versions of most things. Used gift card from BFs bonus, spent £11
Going to see the Nutcracker later, got free tickets from work, then to Ha!Ha! using the £10 off £20 spend voucher (will probably work out better value than a BOGOF somewhere else as BF always wants a starter and bread!)
Check Pigsback and Quidco, nothing on Quidco but 50 points from LonelyinLondon added (I'm not Lonely in London but who cares?!)
Storecupboard breakfast and lunch.
Have good days all x0
