not being arsey or anything here, but there are only a finite number of people who FREQUENT this thread, and have experience with New York. there are plenty of people who come here, ask questions, take advice, and never return to share their experiences.

So, with this finite number of people, it is impossible for us to stay at every hotel in New York, and there seems to be a nice list now, of MSE hotels, dare i say, which are as follows (feel free to add more!)

    1 - Cosmopolitan Hotel
    2 - Pod Hotel
    3 - Affinia 50
    4 - Radio City Apartments

I take on board what you're saying but silly me for thinking outside the box and daring to enquire about a hotel that isn't an MSE regular. I am very excited about my trip and I know I can ask too many questions but I was enjoying this forum - however it seems to be getting a bit clicky of late.

Dont let it get to you superstar, there are the regulars who are a great help and if they havnt been to where you are going they tend not to give structured replies but this forum is viewed by thousands of people each week and i bet there is someone out there just waiting to reply to you and we are waiting for your views on a NOT MSE Hotel and maybe it will become an MSE hotel because of your trip, which i hope you enjoy as much as i intend to enjoy mine.
have a lovely time and be sure to let us know everything you did, whether you enjoyed it or not and anything else you may think we would find useful regardless of how trivial you may think it is.
    chin up and enjoy.

by all means don't think i'm saying not to ask questions, i'm all for questions, i love answering them. but some certain things, i know I cannot help, and hotels are mainly one of them...

TA is a great resource, and there are reviews on there, but we all know how people can fly off the handle and get emotional, so you do have to take some reviews with a pinch of salt..

and as for a clique here on the NY thread? doubtful, i don't think anyone here thinks that, and we are all here to help! and if we can't, well, we normally sit quietly and wait for something we can help on!

    sorry if i offended
