96 days until I go back to New York! I can't wait! (April)

Just to add also, I booked my flights/hotel aagggesss ago, and just checked flights now, and they are more expensive by around £250pp (3 of us going), so it's not always best to wait for the 'three month rule'. If it's a price you personally are happy to pay, go for it!

    whats the 3 month rule?

waiting roughly 3 months before your travel date to book your flights.

That is really high. How long are you planning to go for and when?

If you fly economy you can usually pick a flight up with easy for £299ish except for the busy busy times.

Hotel will all depend on where you want to stop and how much you are willing to spend.
Was aiming for the start of May (not this yr anymore since I added up this price lol), expedia, flying from Glasgow

I have noticed there isnt much on the tv about NYE in times square this year.
If anyone would like to see NYE in NYC heres a good link i've found on you tube:

    LISSILEIGH:
Some people go purely to shop then some people go and dont buy a single thing its all sightseeing.
I am a shopper and when in NYC I do a far bit of shopping as the brands I like are american or cheaper to buy in america so I will save up then buy the brands I like when am there however I usually go for 6 days which means that I still do lots of sightseeing also, NYC is an amazing city with lots of things to see.
If its your first trip and you want to shop & do some sightseeing if can afford to I personally would say no less than 6 days.
New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥

What do you mean by the £839 including flights? Is that the total cost of your flights?

Also, is there any particular reason you want to go for 10 nights?

I just don't get how your original post said 2k each? I've no idea how NY could cost that much unless you're flying first class with Virgin lol

I reckon you could get flights and hotel for well under £2k - for both of you.
